Bellevue Rheinhotel

First time we have stayed here despite going to Boppard for 20+ years. When asked in the Christmas shop they asked us where we were staying and we said the Belleview he said best hotel in Boppard - and so it proved to be An excellent stay. My wife has said this where we will be staying in future, and she is boss. If staying I recommend getting the river view Very few things better than a glass of cold wine sitting on the balcony. Only slightly more expensive than neighbours but money well spent. Breakfast is extensive and very tasty. Highly recommend

Hotel was as expected, good room and good location. All clean and comfortable, albeit slightly dated.

Staff were not especially welcoming and we struggled on arrival - we were directed to the carpark which we had pre-booked, but were not given the key to enter it so had to drive back to the hotel which was frustrating. Le Jardin restaurant was very pretty but food was of a poor quality.

Best location next to Rhine River with KD boat right at hotel. You can purchase ticket easily. Nice balcony overlooking river.. breakfast was amazing .

No Air condition, but we left the window open at night for fresh air.

There was no air conditioning and it was 40 degrees outside. The building completely retained heat and it was more like an episode of survivor than a luxury vacation. This was supposed to be a treat for us and it was instead unbearable. I felt actually very ill and there was no escaping the heat. I mistakenly assumed that a four-star property would be equipped to face the unfortunate reality of more frequent heat waves.
