We kregen bij aankomst een upgrade naar een prachtige grote kamer op de 2e verdieping met uitzicht op de tuin en het meer. Welkomst prosecco, chocolade en appels op de kamer. In de bar kregen we ook nog een welkomstdrankje. Alle niet alcoholische drankjes in de minibar zijn gratis. Zeer uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet en eten in de tuin. Ontzettend aardig personeel. Mooi zwembad. Mooie grote tuin met ligbedden. E-bikes gratis. Goede tips vwb restaurants in de buurt (+ vouchers voor korting). Centraal gelegen. Mooie rustige buurt. Laadpaal voor opladen elektrische auto. Genoeg parkeerplekken.
De muggen in de kamer.
En in de tuin. Ontzettend veel die ondanks muggenwerend middel door de kleding heen staken. Je kon eigenlijk niet op de bedjes liggen of buiten zitten in de lounge hoek. Zelfs in het zwembad werd je nog gestoken in je gezicht en op de hoofd. Grote jeukende bulten.
Overigens bij het ontbijten op het terras vrijwel geen last gehad van muggen.

Very kind and helpful staff. We arrived much earlier than check-in, and they kindly let us use the pool until our room was ready, such a thoughtful gesture. We especially appreciated the thoughtful welcome treats for me and my little daughter, such a lovely personal touch.
The pool and garden area are clean, beautiful and peaceful, with plenty of comfortable lounges. Our room was very clean, with spotless linen and towels. We also appreciated the complimentary non-alcoholic drinks in the minibar. The breakfast was excellent, and the location is very convenient, close to the lake, train station and bus stop. We had a lovely and relaxing stay at La Villa!
