Proximity to the centre of Amalfi and to the port
The noise levels were too much - as the room allocated to us was facing Piazza Duomo. Whilst it is understandable during peak season, it is not comprehensible that the locals & workers scream out amongst themselves from 4am onwards. It made our experience quite negative as we couldn’t sleep. Also, apart from Luana at reception (beautiful person!)during day shift and one other gentleman that did the night shift, the other staff never greeted you unless you did nor did they ever have a smile on their face!!

Nice location, close to most of restaurants and bars. Neat n clean
Small bathrooms, no space to put ur wet towels , clothes. No space or tray to put soaps or shampoo

The hotel is right on the beach and transport hub. Staff are welcoming.
The room is old and low maintained. Shower is not draining fast enough. When we went out for a day and came back, the a/c was turned off on a hot day - it takes a lot of time to cool the room because the a/c not fitted to the room size. No elevator to the lobby, so you need to carry luggage through 30 stairs.
