Hotel, is obviously undergoing some work.
What let the room down, was paint spotting on furniture. Mould in shower, shower leaked, due to sealant away from shower base. Shower room needs a deep clean. Otherwise a great room. Change in breakfast since we last stayed

The bedroom that I was allocated was booked as a double but it was actually two singles pushed together which seperated during the night so a good sleep was not achievable. Considering it looked as though a refurbishment had taken place in the room there was black mold in the shower in the bathroom.
I have had better ((and worse) accommodation for this price range. Four days after leaving I am still awaiting a VAT reciept for the room and the one night I ate there (I did not risk the other two nights for a receipt) and ate elsewhere.
If you are staying for any reason that you require a VAT receipt DO NOT STAY HERE! I am unable to process the expense with no VAT receipt.

"Central location right in middle of Main Street. Next to famous Portsoy Ice Cream shop and other shops. Lovely walk to a small loch/pond! And also lovely walk down to Portsoy Harbour."
