The view of Ravello was amazing. Rooms were clean and spacious, with friendly staff.. Good pool and parking. Scala is a quiet little village and exactly what we needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of the Amalfi coast. Nice stay!
Certain aspects need updating and a few simple things would make a huge difference as could be an amazing hotel.

Family run hotel. Staff are wonderful. Feels like you’re staying in your own villa!
Steps up from car park. Hard to get Taxis into Ravello and very costly taxi’s.

Location was ok, walk down to Amalfi is fantastic. Pool is good size and views spectacular. Room was ok, but could use a refresh. A small fridge was there but had a weird location.
Pool closes very early 17:30 (and you get kicked out) and opens at 9, however no towels or lifeguards at 9. A lot of non hotel/local guests at the pool. Suggest to have split shifts 9-15 and 12-20:00 for the pool boys, and keep the poolbar open till restaurant open at 19:30. Some staff were very friendly while others were not feeling me welcome. A lot of signs and rules what you cannot do. Restaurant was average quality and service.
