About this house rental
Nestled in Grand Lake, this lovely house for $717 per night is a great option for your next break. Unobstructed lake and mountain views, a short stroll into downtown Grand Lake, a warm firepit on the deck, a relaxing lake view soak in a large 8 person hot tub, wandering moose, curious foxes, fuzzy bears, 40 min to Winter Park, 30 seconds to snowmobile trails, 3 minutes to Grand & Shadow Mtn Lakes, 3 miles to Rocky Mountain National Park. What else could you ask for?! At the Kneeling Moose Lodge, this is a family neighborhood and we have strict outdoor quiet hours after 10pm. This is a great getaway for families and those looking for quiet and relaxation. No bachelor/bachelorette parties or other events with loud music or late-night outdoor gathering on the outside decks. Beautiful master bedroom on 2nd floor has a spectacular view, fireplace, sitting area, full desk + extra monitor for remote working and its own large master bathroom with a jet tub and separate shower. Two more bedrooms upstairs, one with a king and another with a queen bed, these can share the 2nd bathroom upstairs. The main level has a generous kitchen with bar stools and dining room, and a very comfortable living room with a smart TV and Xfinity cable, Netflix and more. The living room looks out on an amazing deck with stellar views of the Grand and Shadow Mountain Lakes. The deck is the ultimate outdoor relaxation area outfitted with a long propane firepit, and luxurious seating for the whole group. There's also a BBQ for grilling. The lower level has another family room to hang out in with a new smart TV, a second kitchen table for games and puzzles and a futon for sitting or sleeping. There is also a huge bunk room on the lower level with two queen over queen bunk beds (4 queen beds!) and another full bathroom. Full washer/dryer are on the lower level and available to use during your stay. The lower deck has more space to sit and enjoy the amazing lake views, a life-size Jenga game and the 8 person hot tub. It is the ultimate family weekend getaway! Important Note: 4WD/AWD or FWD w/chains are recommended during winter months due to the steep hill to get to house that can become icy! Extra parking available on Park Ave during the non-winter months or at bottom of the hill all season.

Stayed with a group of moms celebrating a 40th birthday and this place was incredible! Beautiful home, fantastic hot tub, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, can walk to town, lake, and hiking trails. Never had to use our cars. The hosts are amazing, very communicative, and I can't recommend this place enough. Would give our experience 10 stars if I could.

We stayed here for large family get-together. It was a great home in a beautiful location. The deck is pretty on a sunny fall day or sunsets overlooking the town and lakes. And still is close to town for quick errands.
Owners were very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. One of the best among all my VRBO experiences.

Our family had the best time in Grand Lake. We were a large group of 13 celebrating my mom's birthday and there was plenty of space to accommodate everyone. It is exactly as listed and even more beautiful in person. The views from the home are fantastic and it's an easy walk into town (although the walk back will make you huff and puff a bit as it's uphill). The hosts provided everything you could possibly need including most of the basics to start off the week (coffee, paper towel, dish soap, etc.) The showers even had soap, shampoo, and conditioner which was a nice surprise! The hosts were easy to communicate with and quick to respond. We absolutely loved our stay here! The hot tub was such a bonus and we used it more than we initially thought. It's large and warm and the jets are not too powerful and not too gentle. Absolutely perfect! The beds were also incredibly comfortable. I slept better in this house than I have at home in a long time. Colorado was on my mom's bucket list and this home truly was the icing on the cake for her birthday! I wouldn't hesitate to book this property again. We were very pleased!

We enjoyed this home that accommodated our large group quite well. The views are amazing. The location is wonderful, so close to everything. The bathrooms could use updating, but everything we needed was there. Thank you.

I had kids visiting from out of state with their small children and thought it might be nice to spend a long weekend in grand Lake. This VRBO was everything you could want or imagine. The view is fantastic and the house was spotless. Roomy enough to set up three pack and plays For the small toddlers. We hope to return someday.

We had our family of 14 stay at this beautiful home in Grand Lake. It was super clean, the kitchen is exceptionally outfitted, and the view from its two decks is amazing. Hosts were easy to communicate with. Bed in master bedroom is elevated to take advantage of the view-just needs some steps to get into for us older/shorter folk:)

The house is incredibly clean. Everything from the pots in the kitchen to the hot tub was in fantastic condition and clean clean clean.
There was more room in this house than we knew what to do with. We loved using the entertainment room downstairs for movie nights and eating in the spacious and well appointed kitchen. The master bedroom is gorgeous! The pictures do not do it justice.
The views from every level are incredible…we wanted to stay an extra day just to sit on the deck and not go anywhere.
Everything was super smooth and seamless with check in and check out. Can’t say enough about this amazing home. Don’t think, just book!!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Beautiful home with a great view!! Family of 12. Lots of space. Hot tub was so nice. Close to the Adam’s Fall trail and the Cascade Falls trail( where we got to see a bear). Both beautiful hikes!! We also got to see a bear after dark below our lower level deck at this house. Would love to come back here!!

Fantastic large family getaway.
Great location overlooking Grand and Shadow Mountain Lakes. What a view. Plenty of space with three levels, 3 bedrooms upstairs, main level kitchen dining area and den all combined in one large open space. Lower level den and bunk room for the kids. 2 large separate decks with a very nice large hot tub. We all enjoyed our stay.

Amazing views - Beautiful and convenient location
Our family (7 adults) had a wonderful time in Grand Lake. This property was so close to RMNP that we drove there at dusk each evening to spot wildlife - saw my first moose! The hot tub was awesome after hiking all day or kayaking in the lake. The town is quaint with very friendly people. So many outdoor activities - kayaking, paddle board, hiking. Make sure you allow time to relax in the beautiful home though.
We had a couple of issues with amenities but Matt was quick to respond, which we very much appreciated. He even stopped by with extra supplies that were low from previous renters. Communication all the way through was excellent! I was a little nervous about the "quiet on decks" warning but found that it was not an issue.
Owners have detailed many things to do and places to eat which was great. I would definitely stay here again. I already miss staring at the Lake!

Lots of room for adults and children to play and relax. Amazing views. Not enough silverware for 9, otherwise we’ll stocked kitchen. All beds comfortable. Scary driveway but we got used to it. We had a fabulous time.
