Recently updated, very clean and comfortable. Thoughtful additions like eucalyptus air freshener in the elevator, and freely available supplies like toothbrushes and combs. The public bath was also very nice and there was a way to check how busy it was at different times of the day.
Breakfast buffet was relatively expensive and included Italian food that is usually served for dinner, like pasta and minestrone.

Location was satisfactory. About a 15 minute walk from the main station and just over half an hour walk to the centre of the city. The hotel was fairly modern and has it's own carpark underneath. Staff were great. No complaints.
Nothing much. There was breakfast available but somewhat expense when there are plenty of places to have breakfast nearby the hotel being a much cheaper option. The only hassle we had, and that wasn't the hotel's fault was that Google Maps didn't take into consideration the railway construction that was taking place so took ages to get our bearings from the station to the hotel.

It's a fine hotel, apparently meeting the needs of local business travels and Japanese tourists, with a focus on being eco-friendly. The rooms were light and bright, and the staff friendly. Lots of plants around the building, and access via the street was easy enough to use.
There was nothing wrong with the hotel, just didn't leave an impression of being particularly special or memorable. It served it's purpose, and I can't fault it for that. I feel that for the price paid verses other hotels during our trip, there could have been more on offer to improve the value. Additionally, breakfast was overcrowded and not really worth the money once again.
