Location! If you are staying at the Caldera, Imerovigili is the best spot. Our room was on the top, no stairs for bags best sunset view and quiet. Our suite was superb, high up no one walking by and peering in fantastic views. The staff are fabulous! Our cleaning lady made a swan from towels for us one day ( my husband and I have been together 47 years!) eating our included breakfast on our private balcony was wonderful and the food was great. We ate dinners in too because of the food and wonderful views. Look no more. Book the suite you won’t regret it. Sharps rock right below is a good hike and a church behind the rock!
I believe the water heater is on solar so showers take a bit to warm ( it was cloudy when we were there so most likely not the norm)

The view and breakfast on the terrace was wonderful. The room was nicely decorated and comfortable with robes and slippers. Male staff in reception and bar very pleasant and helpful.
I had much higher expectations for a SLH hotel. The hotel was not as per the images on booking.com especially the restaurant. The pool area is dated and sun loungers uncomfortable. There hotel is right next to a derelict building site.
