Okay-ish

Convenient position, nice reception area and roof terrace were good. Daily rate was okay, but other hotels were available at similar cost with better facilities.

Rooms were very basic, tired and in need if redecoration. Some light switches did not work, bathroom mirror light did not work. Sliding door to balcony did not shut or open properly. Tea/coffee making facilies would have been good. Mini fridge and safe were available but at a daily charge. With some work and additional all facilities, this could be quite decent, but the noise early morning and late at night could be off putting for some. A walk in shower would be a big bonus as opposed to a quadrant shower tray and a nylon shower curtain. Lift was very small, just big enough for 2 people. Breakfast, (continental style), expensive at 9€, compared to restaurant 20m away at 7€ for a full English breakfast including drinks. Area was noisy.

Some of the reception staff really nice and welcoming,

We payed for a room with sea view but they gave us a lower level so the view was blocked by the trees , the room looks nothing like the photos, not enough space in the room, old bathrooms, you could not really control the air conditioning as it had to be put on by the reception, noisy room as it is exactly next to the main road......some of the receptionist really unwelcoming.....yeah...not so cool ....I would not stay there again if I would come back in Malta.

Great experience for a great value

The location was great, close to the bay and promenade and restaurants. Nice view from the roof top. The staff was very kind and helpful, helped with a mini fridge which was not included initially, with a UK to EU power plug adapter and with guidance related to visiting tips. Also the breakfast was enjoyable and had the right amount of food variety considering the price we paid. It could have definitely be worse but happy it was not. And special thanks to the kind waiter that was helping everyone with any needs they might have.

The rooftop swimming pool was not maintained for a long time, but when I asked at the reception they didn't say it was out of commission, they did recommend the sea, but probably should have said to not use the pool as it has unclean water.

Great value for money in a good location. I would stay again.

The location suited me. The hotel is situated on the boundary of Sliema and St Julian’s. It’s on the seafront with a busy road outside. Bus stops are outside to take you to many places on the island.

The road outside is very busy. I wouldn’t recommend a partial sea view room as they are lower floor rooms and closer to the busy road/pavement. I had a room around the back and it faced an apartment block opposite so I had very little privacy. It was a little quieter. There is very little soundproofing in the hotel.

Not Family Friendly

Very clean and near the beach.

Rooms are inconsistent and some facilities don't work.They didn't supply me with a cot the first night of my first stay and then they didn't supply a mattress the second stay for my child. The staff were rude and unhelpful and the hotel is exceptionally noisy. Not family friendly in my opinion. Wouldn't come back. only came back as it was already booked.

Very good

Location is on the main road where you can find shops, bars and beaches. Furthermore, the bus station is just in front of the hotel. Hotel is okay, and it will serve it's purpose for night or two like it did for us.

Main street is noisy. Those with cars will have a problem finding parking space but I guess it can be found in back streets of the hotel.

Needs renovation - especially the lift

- the lift was very small and it make you feel like it’s going to break down. - Bathroom shower was bad and it gave only hot water - only one plug point in the whole room for charging, if you plan to stay in here with many electronic devices then take spike buster with you :(

Cleaning aside all good.

The staff at reception were extremely helpful and friendly. They helped us with most request and also allowed us to have a later check out. The location is very convenient for trips as the buses stop right next to the hotel. Also, the airport bus stops nearby. Very close to the seaside (with a small beach) easily accessible. The pool is quite small but well maintained and the pool area is quite spacious. Rooms are with double windows (first floor) so no noice from road was heard. There is a kettle for tea and coffee but no minibar. Good shower and bathrooms.

unfortunately the cleaning was poorly done. We had to ask reception to tell the cleaner to sweep the floor as we had brought sand from the beach the day before. The cleaners barely just made the bed and changed the towels. There many lights not working in our room and many unued switches. Also there were no sockets near the beds.

Good location friendly stuff.

The location was very nice the stuff were very friendly.

The toilet cover was quite old should have been replaced with the new ones as it seems a bit yellowish. This woman pulled on the top roof is quite small.

If you don't plan to spend the whole time in the hotel, then this hotel is perfect as a place to stay.

Very good location close to beach, cafes, restaurants and 10 min walking to St Julians.

The bathroom had poor lighting and very little space to put your cosmetics. The room is not ergonomically designed to be comfortable. The sound insulation in the rooms was very poor, you could hear the maids talking loudly in the morning :(.

- room was verry small - old furniture - bed makes noise on every movement - dust in the room and inside the furniture - no fridge in the room - strange smell in the room probably from old furniture - price to high for the overall quality of the hotel facilities
