It’s really well run. Staff evident everywhere doing things and to greet you. Very pleasant. Nice grounds with lots of trees where one can take a walk around. Rooms nice. We had the Grand Courtyard that came with a hot spring tub. That was so awesome as you can really enjoy the benefits of a good soak before bed and after hiking and sightseeing.

I liked the outside bathroom and the room gets cleaned everyday.
The food at the restaurant is good and I also did an hot stone Hawaiian massage which was really nice.
I also liked the towels available to grab nearby the pools areas
Wi-fi is a little bit slow and there is no Netflix app on the tv.
They mentioned that there are a lot of local restaurant outside but that is not true, there are very limited options of doubtful quality. The prices for the food at the resort are also very high for local standards and they take advantage of the fact that there is nothing else nearby in walkable distance.
Also there is no beach in the resort.
Lastly the hot pools have algae. some people mentioned to me it could be because of the hot water and it is done because too many chemicals might destroy the quality of the water, so it is natural, but for me it is just weird to swim in a pool with slimy edges or bottom. The chairs around the pool have the cushions all stained and dirty. some of them can be cleaned or replaced.
