Bathrooms desperately need updating as every flush of the toilet was very noisy.
Too many varieties of cake for breakfast. Be better to add muesli/granola and some other fruit like bananas and melon.

We loved this place. It feels like an authentic Italian stay. The room was filled with light. The people were lovely. The breakfast was great. They have a relationship with a local waterfront restaurant where you get 20% off, which was fantastic too! I would recommend it to anyone.
The bathrooms are slightly outdated, and could use upgrading, but it wasn’t a major at all. There wasn’t a mini fridge or kitchenette in the room we stayed in - that would have been a helpful addition.

Charming building with wooden floors and very high ceilings
Very helpful and friendsly staff, especially Daniela, who can supply plenty of info about Rapallo and surroundings
