This place is a dump

Located in a quiet area with a nice view

Possibly the worst hotel i have ever stayed in and i travel a lot. The rooms were shabby, dirty, the bathroom smelled bad,toilet was faulty. The staff were rude and indifferent to any complaints. Service was non existent. The hotel was misrepresented in the promotion as a high quality place, nothing could be further from the truth. Stay away.

Too far from city if you dont have a car but bus service ok. Limited wifi.

Room was great, location a bit remote but we chosed it. Personal courteous all over!

The view was stunning on the bay.

We asked reception to order food for us, and they told us that it would cost us 45 XPF a minute to talk?????

Great stay but would not stay for longer than 2 nights

The hotel best feature it’s its view. The view from the hotel is absolutely stunning. The pool is also facing the sea which gives a lots of charm to the place

The hotel has so much potential but unfortunately it is a old hotel so the facilities are not that great. We expected the room to be nicer than what it really is.

Beautiful location, great value, lovely staff.

View was fabulous over Saint Marie Bay. Our room was basic but had everything we needed. We loved the option in the morning of fresh on site fresh baked croissant and baguette for breakfast, from the reception area.

A little bit isolated from local restaurant options.

So close to the sea

Being able to purchase freshly baked croissants at reception for a relaxing start to the day with breakfast on your balcony whilst enjoying the wonderful view out to sea.

Once a lovely hotel, now totally run down and poorly managed

The location is very convenient to the domestic airport (Magenta). Super outlook. Free parking

The hotel is very tired. The pool lights are sitting by the side of the pool with the wires hanging out and the pool ladder is broken - seems very unsafe. The pier is also rickety. The extra blankets/sheets in the cupboard smell like they haven’t been washed for a while. The pillows are really old, lumpy, flat and when we asked for more pillows, the man at the front desk said they were locked away and he didn’t have the key. The terrace is swathed by ganja smoke from the other tenants.

An okay hotel for the price.

The room was spacious. The view was beautiful from the 4th floor rooms.

It’s far from most things in Noumea, and it was very difficult to get a taxi to come out. The hotel itself is dated, could use some major updating. Also, an allotted 250mb of internet usage per day is not enough, especially when shared between 2 people.

Once I had groceries in the fridge and worked out us system was ok … this is not an easy resort hotel…

The location, while a bit remote from the city is very scenic

Remote from Noumea centre and NO restaurant or cafe … and nothing within walking distance

Le Stanley was perfect for us. We would recommend this as good place to stay.

We loved the view from the deck of our room. We thought the staff were friendly. We loved that it was slightly out of town but with excellent links to everything. It was quiet. The kitchenette was just what we wanted. Good off-road parking.

Aspects of the room were a little tired but it was very clean and the value for money reflected that it wasn't top of the range. We were pleased that we were able to borrow cooking equipment as it was not available in the room.

Overpriced hotel for the service received

Amazing staff: friendly, helpful and attentive to your needs. Wonderful view overlooking the bay Residential neighbourhood Small Carrefour supermarket nearby (20mins walk) Tjibaou cultural center reasonably closeby (5 min drive)

Very noisy hotel: this is a hotel where locals people also live, not only tourists who visit the country/city - some of these people receive visits from friends and make noise all night - I had to sleep with earplugs the whole week; Overpriced for tourists, locals or workers get a discounted price according to the French leaflet left on the reception desk; Scraped paint, leaky tap, cracks in wall, damaged bed leg, balcony not flash, broken paving stones at the swimming pool...; Poor lighting - no bulb in lounge/bedroom ceiling No plugs near bed tables No usb sockets No unlimited wifi - you have to purchase as extra (2100F) Pool is not watched Cleaning every other day Restaurant is closed at dinner time, only open for breakfast Located too far from city centre if you are a pedestrian - please be aware of this: you will need to use the public transport or book a rental car (be aware that space in parking is not guaranteed, we had to park in street), no restaurant nearby In conclusion a very old-fashioned building, such a great potential but not enough money put in there to maintain the facilities !!! Shop around!

Great apartments, good location (with a car), friendly and helpful staff, good value.

Fantastic location, not "in town" a bonus, lovely quiet not tourist neighbourhood. A short drive to excellent shops and brilliant restaurants. Staff were great. The apartments are very spacious and really well laid out and the kitchen etc had everything you could need. Each apartment have good balconies to sit on and enjoy the great views across the water. Small shop handy if you're caught short of basics, we didn't use it though, as there were plenty of shops not far away. You do need a car. Nice walk on the boardwalk in a park a short 5-10 minute walk away.

While the rooms were all modern and recently renovated, there does need to be some more work on maintenance, not cleaning that was fine, just a few things starting to come adrift through normal wear and tear. Car park fills up on the weekend, we parked down the street one night, no problems as its a residential area.
