Had a great stay at Mocambo - building is dated but it has spacious room, comfy bed, hot water, good wifi and very helpful staff. Didn't have any issues with noise (back room on 3rd floor). Great location near Baie Des Citrons with beach and restaurants.

If you want a fancy resort, this isn't it, but for Noumea it was reasonably priced, clean, and convenient. It's not a fancy hotel but I only used the room for sleeping. The location is great - just a few hundred meters from the Baie du Citrons restaurant strip. And they have a few parking spaces for those with a car.
The bathroom floor was dangerously slippery when wet. The lights in the corridors turned off automatically after a couple minutes, so when you came out of your room it was DARK.

Very helpful and professional staff, comfortable and good location at a reasonable cost for Noumea.
Breakfast option at a cost, water dispenser and some activities for tours or dining options.
