Marijuana smell

Location

Smell of weed on every floor....lifts....noise level throughout the night.....lifts dont work fast enough.....been coming here for last 12 years......every year its gone worse ..... Not a place for family or if you looking for peace and quite.

Icon - gute Lage!

Die Lage des ICON zwischen Longstreet und Waterfront ist sehr gut und es kann alles in Gehdistanz erreicht werden. Die Aussicht (12. Etage) auf den Tafelberg war super und auch die Tiefgarage im Haus mit eigenem Parkplatz war toll. Mit den Security-Leuten im Eingangsbereich des Gebäudes fühlte man sich sehr wohl, die Bettler, die auf der Strasse sitzen, oder einem auf Schritt und Tritt nachlaufen sind unangenehm.

Das Appartement war funktional eingerichtet, aber eher etwas abgewohnt.

Felt comfortable and safe … the Food Lovers Market was amazing 🤩

No blankets and no receptionist to receive payment when my card didn’t work online. Parking bay was too narrow for our rental SUV.

False advertising, when booking was made breakfast showed included,but it wasn't offered. Very uncleanly. Will not recommend.

Highly recommended for your amily visit to Cape Town

Large luxurious three bedroom apartment in good location , friendly staff with private vehicle underground parking , and in top of that, there are excellent security staff around all building entrances to keep you safe 24 hours.

Tumble Dryer is broken and was not fixed during our 2 weeks stay.

Apartment nice and comfy. Staff (Mrs Dee) was so helpful and friendly. Wish I could stay longer.

Mrs Dee was kind and helpful and so welcoming. She was quick to solve a problem and I owe my great stay to her implacable service. Can bookings.com staff please learn from Icon staff. Mrs Dee thank you for showing me customer service still exists. Love the view, the fact shops were so close by

No Cleaning supplies, like dish soap or washing soap. Booking.com did not what they supposed to, thanks to helpful employers at Icon they sorted it out.

Not sure I would stay here again

Liked the location. Also like the layout of the apartment. Also very clean.

It was a mission to get the keys upon arrival. Had to phone the agent 4 times to find the parking bay. Had to keep phoning the agent to help us throught the maize of finding the apartment. Water was dirty (bath/shower)

It was very good

The spaciousness, cleanliness, the furnishings and services and the convenient location

That cleaning is done at an extra charge and only on request, no extra toilet paper and old towels

A lovely stay and will definitely call again 🌼

The location is perfect, close to N1 & N2 highways, shops and V&A Waterfront. The cleaning staff was friendly and helpful. Lovely stay overall and will definitely book again☺️

The balcony sliding door was malfunctioning & difficult to open.

The Housekeeper and maintenance guys was very nice and helpful. I was locked outside due to the lady in charge of check in sending up the in correct keys that was not for the door and the time I went downstairs to grab a bite by the time I returned I realized the keys provided was incorrect the maintenance went out of his way to get the door open for me

The lady at check in was very rude and unprofessional during the time I was locked outside I want to her office advising her she was busy with one of the landlord of one of the apartments they were going through electricity bill. I was on duty busy working and now my laptop was stuck inside as I advised her she told me she is also busy working I should go up to my room she will send someone to assist me and I waited outside the door for about 15 minutes. The day off checking out no explanation was given to us of any instructions with regards to the apartments or building and what happens on the day of checking out.

Disappointing

The location

Dear all We had a not so pleasant stay at your facilities. It started when we first arrived the facilities around 12pm and the receptionist was nowhere to be find... we insistedly called for around 30/45 mins with no answer and the security was clueless on what to do... after 45 mins the receptionist comes and she explains that our room was still occupied....and they changed us to another equal room and that situation would be fixed on the following day.. we gladly accepted. But... for our surprise... when we go to the room the room was not equal... there was no balcony only one Bathroom and no suite... " features to which we paid more". We then went down and informed... to which the receptionist kindly say... we will accommodate you to the correct room still today later on we agreed and left to our first Tour on the amazing Cape 😀. When we got back later on around 8:30 the receptionist was no where to found and the security was clueless in regards to the info of changing rooms.... Despite calling so many times to the receptionist nr we had no success. He then " security " found keys on his balcony that he did not now what were for... we then said to him... let's Try and see these keys we do believe those might be from our room.. let's just check... and after an 30 mins negotiation he accepted and ask for another guard to escort us to the room associated to those keys to see indeed ...if it was our room or not... As soon as we got there... we realised by the configuration of everything that... that was indeed our room... We managed to change our stuff from the previous room to the new one... For our surprise... it was not clean... dirty floors... the wc was smelling urine... as if someone had pissed few mins before.... We then decided to do a quick clean ourselves....however even the mop was not clean. On the following day...

The kitchen is well equipped for self catering. Gym is okay. Pool was quite sunny.

The air-conditioning was a problem throughout the stay. Noise at night with guests not sticking to rules and parties going on until 4am in the morning. Lifts are really slow. Definitely not luxury. But okay for holiday but not the best for a business trip. Pillows horrible.

Icon luxury hotel stay

Everything was good. From the reception to the security to the rooms aswell as faculties and the staff is super super friendly. Wow I'm blown away. Will definitely be coming back

There just wasn't a kettle in our room and the wifi did not want to connect to our phones. But minor things as they got us a brand new kettle in under 30min and a new password for the wifi in no time. Thumbs up 👍
