Kurrara Historic Guest House

If I could give this place more than 10/10 I would. The house is even more beautiful than photos portray - and I thought the photos were beautiful! I travelled from Brisbane with four girlfriends for a weekend away. From the moment we arrived to even after we left the staff were more than helpful and accommodating. After checking out they were able to organise storage for our luggage that was so convenient. A couple of things were accidentally left behind and they promptly organized to have them mailed to us. Kylie was so warm and friendly, such a pleasure to deal with. It was so refreshing to be treated like a human and not a number, as it can feel like in some larger establishments. The guesthouse itself was so beautiful, clean and well looked after. The common areas were exquisitely decorated and comfortable for us to gather as a group and the rooms had everything we needed. We occupied all five rooms on the top floor which worked so well for our small group. The beds were so comfortable and the breakfast was devine. It really was the perfect place for a girls getaway. I highly recommend.

Disappointed that we only booked two nights here.

A wonderful, classic mountain guest house with welcoming owners and staff. More than just a place to stay. At Kurrara House hospitality and history are combined to make for a truly enjoyable travel experience.

It’s a lovely heritage house. Immaculately kept, very clean, our bed is very comfortable.

Shower pressure is a bit weak.
