Stow your walking gear or bicycles in the handy store room, then wander into the spacious open-plan living area and enjoy the warmth from the wood-burning stove There’s underfloor heating in the main living areas to keep you cosy too. The whole property has been beautifully refurbished to give you contemporary comforts throughout.
Netherwood may feel wonderfully off the beaten track, but amenities are very close at hand. The historic market town of Dumfries is just 1.5 miles away, final home of Scotland’s national poet Robert Burns. There’s plenty to see in the town, including sites linked to Robert the Bruce, as well as one of Scotland’s oldest bridges.
Additional Information:
An external three pin socket is provided near the parking area for charging electric vehicles and providing power to camper vans. Guest must bring their own connector and cable. A daily charge of £5 will be payable direct to the owner to use this facility.
One well-behaved dog welcome (small additional charge). Please ensure your dog is not allowed in the bedrooms or on any furniture, thank you for your consideration.
A travel cot and highchair are available on request.
