Fantastic place to stay. Great architecture. Lovely clean apartment. Restaurants and bars and cafes a short stroll away. Loads of things to do in the nearby area eg went on great boat trips. The weather was like summer! Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
We were told the lift wasn't working a couple of days before our stay, not ideal with a toddler in our group. The reception desk is rarely occupied so you can't just pop in with a quick question. I did email after our stay but haven't received a reply yet...

Well thought out development of an historic building, marvellous location.
Met the cleaners as we were leaving & the lady in the Steel Brew reception. Very friendly & helped me pick up something left behind, great service.
Throughout the stay James was brilliant, there was a boiler outage, unforeseeable. James dealt with it very well indeed & arranged an alternative flat in case it took longer to repair, not needed in the end. James could not have been more helpful, top customer care.
Nothing obvious, there was a boiler outage to the whole block, no one’s fault and it was repaired. James kept us informed all the time on progress

Location, Location, Location
There was no wi-fi as advertised and out of date information in the guest booklet made contacting a member of staff difficult. The lift broke down on the second day again no staff available at the ‘meet and greet’ desk. The bathroom sink blocked on day two but .. you guessed it … !
