El ambiente fresco en la piscina en relación con el calor intenso del lugar.

El no haber alquilado con menaje, la localidad en si no es muy llamativa y lo caro de la alimentación.

Andrea. 10/10. Pura Vida and beach access. Everything else 0/10

The one with the glasses. Can’t even remember her name. Attitude ,no bueno to say the least ! Asked her for clean bath towels the next day ,because housekeeping is every other day. Told me not till tomorrow ,made a fuss over towels. Second stay there In three months. The last time I was warned about beach towels. Really. Rules. No pura Vida lady. I will not return due to her and the dated accommodations. No bueno in general. The construction next door. Fkcu. Omg. Sanding ,blowing and just no bueno. I know it’s next door but WTF. ALL DAY. The bopuraVida lady told me on the first day it would be done in a couple hours and if we moved rooms there would be a charge !!! Even tho is out of season and all rooms empty. Problems she presented no solutions!!!Haha. Really no customer service from her ,just attitude !! The next day Andrea upgraded the room. 🙌🙏. But the noise went on the entire time and today Saturday at 8.30 am the Fck sanding started again. What a horrible vacation. Besides lovely Andrea. This place sucks!!! 1/5 only because of Andrea

Encantadora pero algo pequeña

Cuando llegamos tuvimos un problema al realizar el check in pero el personal de allí, encantador, nos ayudo sin ningun problema a solventarlo. La habitacion limpia y ordenada, con lo necesario para tu estadia. Hay varias cafeterias cerca para poder comer y tienen acceso privado a la playa.

La habitación era algo estrecha, sobretodo si os quedáis más de dos personas (la habitación era de 4), apenas iluminada por luz natural, solo tiene una pequeña ventana. El acceso a la urbanización donde queda el hotel es algo dificultosa, pero se puede entender ya que esta dentro de un Parque Nacional.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Wish we had stayed longer. Staff were incredible too. Pool area was brilliant and we didn't know before we came but there is a massive shared cooking facility near the pool also. A stones throw for playa grande Beach which has the most beautiful sunset I have ever seen. Highly recommend..

They forgot to clean our room and give us fresh towels but we didn't disciver this till 9pm so just went with it.

Awesome place to stay safe , you won’t be disappointed👍

Location , clean and quiet , walk to surf break.well ran . Thanks to hotel I made my flight after finding out my fob key battery ran out. Thanks to Andrea and the rest of the crew for their willingness to help and professionalism that they got me up and running again so I could make my flight home . Thanks again !

Beautiful, Welcoming, Relaxing and Comfortable friendly stay

I was there a week ago and rebooked with them, so it's my second time in a short period because they are very friendly, attentive, and hospitable. The place and environment are clean and friendly, it's taken care of daily, the surfable beach is super close, there's a beautiful natural space in the gardens for yoga or workout, and guests are valued and respected. The stay ends up feeling welcomed, and friendly and you end up wanting to return because of their hospitality. Thanks for everything once again El Manglar team :)

Great location and staff. We have stayed at this hotel in past and really noticed an increased focus on the pool and the property being clean!

Bed was a little too hard. Have been in the upstairs units in the past and the beds were more comfortable.

Lovely hotel with a great pool!

Great hotel with a really beautiful pool and private entrance to the beach. We booked this hotel as we were hoping to see turtles hatching or laying eggs. Andrea helped us with booking a tour and we saw both a baby turtle and a mother turtle digging in the sand so that was awesome! The staff is very kind, the hotelroom was clean and the bed was comfortable. The beach was beautiful, we loved how easy accessible it was. Best thing about this place is the pool though, we really loved it!!

The accommodation was great, just be aware that this hotel is located in a gated community that has 3 or 4 restaurants and 1 small mini market. The restaurants and mini market are a bit pricey compared to other places. It wasn’t a problem for us and Tamarindo town is close by but just so you are aware of this.

the staff was very nice 😊 the location just in front of playa grande 🌴 the pool

if I had to complain about anything I would say the neighbors in the hotel next door were a little noisy. nothing that El Manglar could fix so it was perfect 🤩

our room was to small for three people there was no where to put your suitcases it was very dark with one small window the beds were to short our feet hung out

Its good, relaxing and you feel very comfortable in the place

Is very clean, and relaxing, what do you see in the pictures it has concordance with the place, is near to the beach and a market where the food is very good and affordable, the restaurant of the owners (cantarana) close to the hotel has very nice atmosphere and excellent food with a great balance between price-quality at walking by distance

The check in scheduled does not make much sense, check in at 4pm is just to late for a check out at 10 am, you are losing almost a day in total hours, one of those must be adjusted as it seems excessive 7 hrs to prepare a room, also it would be nice to add the tickets information for breakfast in the restaurant (cantarana) and how to use it in the notes in the rooms, details as how to reserve, within what hours etc, we didn't know and discovered by chance and the restaurant is very good, we still went there but is a benefit that can do the difference.
