Nestled in Fortuna Foothills, this lovely house for $129 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. NO ADDITIONAL CLEANING FEES OR PET FEES! Our guest house may be a little quirky, with a unique layout and features, but it is a comfortable place to stay and play and has all of the great features for a quick pit stop in Yuma (just 1.5 miles off Interstate 8) or for a longer stay for leisure or Mexico medical/dental trips. We've been investing in the home to make it even better … and we're not done just yet. We're reasonably close to Algadones, the Imperial Dunes, and everything Yuma has to offer! This house shares an approximately one-acre lot with our family home. Both houses have been used for multiple purposes including a period of time when they were used as an assisted living center (with the guest house as offices). The guest house can feel spacious, but has an unusual floor plan that makes it a bit quirky but comfortable. You'll enjoy that this is a completely separate house that affords a lot of privacy during your stay. The kitchen is small yet functional with a range and microwave (no dishwasher), the family room is spacious and has seating for 6-7 guests. The Master Suite has an attached bathroom which also leads to a utility room that is somewhat large. The second bedroom is comfortable with two twin-xl beds (these can become a single King bed if desired). There is a room between the master suite and the second bedroom that has a desk and chair for working. There is a second bathroom in the common area of the house. Please note that parking and driveways are dirt. We have a large solar array which can provide covered parking, and/or convenient parking next to the unit is available. We also can accommodate RV/boat parking if needed (Ask for details). You'll have access to the entire guest house, patio, and there is an available fire pit in the common area near the home. If travelling to Los Algadones, Mexico, the approximate distance is 25 miles. If San Luis Colorado, the approximate distance is 40 miles. Both of these estimates are primarily freeway/highway drives making them pretty easy from our Quirky Guest Home. We are also less than 8.5 miles from Arizona Western College main campus. Please note that because we are always upgrading, improving, and changing things around the house, that the pictures may not perfectly match what you find when you get here. We replace photos as often as possible to keep our listing accurate.

We used this property as a place to stay for a few days while waiting for our house since we moved across the country. Our family (2 kids & 2 dogs) had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We hauled a 16ft trailer and had plenty of space for parking that and our cars. Clint was super responsive and very kind. I’d definitely recommend this place!

This is a great little property. It has a nice office area between the master bedroom and the rest of the house for anyone that needs to work or just wants some privacy while surfing the web. I've stayed here twice and will do so again if my travels take me through Yuma in the future.

This is our second stay at Clint’s place. Just as the first time, we loved it. Great location for us and convenient to our travel plans. Comfortable and clean. Stayed for a baseball tournament at this location Clint the owner was in constant communication with me since before we got there making my planning for our stay very helpful and easy. Since we were traveling a long way from california. On the day we arrived, he had lights on for us, AC ana fans were on making it comfortable since it was over 108. He left us water bottles and snacks that kids enjoyes. He added little details that makes you feel welcomed and comfortable. One night we locked out ourselves out, we called him since he leaves you his number was easy to get a hold of him. His son came right over and open the door for us overall very good location for what we needed. Definitely keeping it in mind for our future trips whenever we are in Yuma!

Quiet and Comfortable Stay

We stayed overnight and found the home extremely clean and comfortable and the area is quiet providing a peaceful night for the whole family. The property is close to I-8 so really easy to get on and off the highway but not so close to hear the traffic. The home is also on a large property and we were towing a trailer so we really appreciated the ample parking and turnaround space. The owners have provided everything you could need and are very responsive to communication. Overall a great stay and will definitely stay again if we find ourselves passing through Yuma again.
