They've all loved it, and we're sure you will, too! FANTASTIC VIEWS from waterfront top (third) floor unit on Intercoastal Waterway. Watch wild birds, dolphins, manatee and boats from very private balcony (you do not see, and are not seen from, other units). Private Garage, Pool, Quiet, Grill, Tranquility, Family Friendly, compete kitchen, Washer/Dryer. The best water views and comforts kept our guests coming back to our Gulf Retreat 1 (VRBO Listing 43893). Now there's Gulf Retreat 2! The same floor plan, amenities and luxury appointments as our Gulf Retreat 1. Most importantly, the same fabulous VIEWS, and just a few feet away, in the same condo association. Endless miles of wide white sand, never-crowded beach is easy access across street, great for walking, jogging, hiking, biking, fishing, and sunsets. Great location on beautiful Sand Key Island about midway between Clearwater and St. Pete beaches. Private fishing pier with bench on Intercoastal Waterway. Spacious 1400 square feet with cathedral ceilings, open space design, large master bedroom that overlooks Intercoastal Waterway and opens onto balcony. Quiet, only four units in building. Deluxe completely furnished in 'Key West' style with king bed in master bedroom, two twin beds in guest bedroom with superior mattresses, queen-size sleep sofa, private single-car garage with remote openers. Washer/Dryer in unit. Refrigerator with ice/water dispenser. Heated pool on grounds. • Water views, water views, water views! • Just steps to beach (approx. 150 yards) • Washer/Dryer in unit • Business Class cable internet and WiFi • Upgraded digital cable TV package • Private 1 car garage • much more! The condo was amazing and as advertised! Darryl was quick with answers to all my questions! Highly recommend this condo if anyone is looking for a location close to Tampa/Clearwater! This condo is in a nice quiet relaxing location steps from the beach! Would definitely stay here again!

The place was big, with a great view. Close to everything and in a quiet location. Walkable to many store and restaurants. Just as advertised - would recommend and will definitely come back. Check-in and checkout procedure/instructions were clear. Host was responsive. Great stay!!!

We had such a great stay. Everything was so clean and looked perfect when we arrived. The view of the Bay Area from the balcony was amazing, especially in the morning as the sun was rising. The beach access was either a 5 min walk to the left or 5 min walk to the right. They also provided chairs & an umbrella which is awesome when you fly and can’t bring those things. Darryl responded very quickly with any questions I had and the check in and check out process was a breeze. 10/10 recommend staying here!!

We absolutely love staying in this complex and especially Darryl’s condo. It’s everything we need for an extended stay. The fishing dock is convenient and the pool is hardly ever busy. The view is spectacular from the balcony and master bedroom. We are looking forward to our return trip next year. Thanks Darryl!

I booked this condo specifically because I had a great stay last year. It worked great! This time I appreciated all the amenities even more: quiet spot, great views from the balcony, long walks along the beach. Communications with the manager was outstanding: he is prompt and always eager to help. I'd highly recommend this property for a quiet and relaxing family vacation.

We were visiting our daughter for the holiday. Great location and we loved the balcony overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway. Also the property manager was very responsive.
We stayed here because of the 5-star rating. We found the condo to be appropriately cleaned by housekeeping. The exception was the outdated decor which does not allow a deep clean, including the clutter and artificial plants, especially in the kitchen and master bedroom.

Many good restaurants and bars nearby.
The condo is well appointed and has everything that you would need for your stay.

This was our fifth stay at Gulf Retreat 1 or 2. As always aDarryl and Isobel were there for anything we needed. The views are spectacular and the sense of peace in the balcony and jetty are unbeatable. Already booked for trip number 6 in April

The condo was beautiful and spacious. We brought our 2 adult sons with us and there was plenty of room for them. Our other son and his family were in another unit just a couple doors down so it made it so easy to get together with them. We had a problem with the air conditioner and It was fixed within a couple hours. We felt so welcome by Daryle and Isabelle. I would definitely recommend this place!! It was so clean and so nicely decorated. Loved it !

Wonderful beach condo
Loved it! Condo was very clean and nice. Everything worked as it should, air conditioning was nice, no problems. I felt like we had the best of both beach and bay fishing at our fingertips.

A great dock at the condo too! The pool is nice but right on the busy street (other places we stayed the pools were on the bay side so a little more relaxing). The condo has everything you could need and plenty of space for a family of five and a food mart next door. Most essentials were provided and parking was a breeze, two spots. Wonderful retreat
It was a wonderful stay for a New England snowbird looking for some warmth in December. The view from balcony is worth the price of admission alone. Wake up to watch the wildlife in the intercostal, relax in the evening by watching the distant lights of IRB. The location is great, everything is within driving distance. Given an opportunity, we'll definitely look to stay at this property in the future.

The condo was spacious, very clean, and comfortable to stay in. The owners were very accommodating and thoughtful to our family with having a baby. They provided a high chair, and port a crib. The view is beautiful! We would definitely come back again!
