Overall, this was a pretty good stay. Comfortable bed with mosquito net as well as quality AC and an overhead fan. Functioning safe for storing valuables. The few times I ate at the restaurant were good enough for the times I didn’t feel like wandering out. Close proximity to many beaches, the closest being Unawatuna Beach just a few minutes walk away. Staff was always nice and friendly and happy to chat. Good little outdoor space with chairs and a table when you need a break from the room.
There were a few instances where noise was an issue. Granted, I happened to be there during the week they were celebrating New Years, so hopefully this isn’t the norm. The first incident was due to people swimming at the hotel next door blasting their yacht rock music until 11 PM. While that didn’t take place at our hotel, just know that the sound carries. The real incident happened when a group of locals took over the hotel. They were blasting music in the restaurant until 1:30 in the morning, acting like it was their own private hotel. I believe the restaurant is supposed to close at 11 or 12. Super inconsiderate. I’m not sure how that was even allowed. However, after calling the front desk to complain, staff quickly shut it down. But really? How you gonna allow loud music to blast until the early hours of the morning like that??

Amazing staff. They were very helpful, we had some digestive issues and they provided us some diet meals free of charge. It is close to the beach and the restaurant food was very tasty. They tried to accommodate our dietary needs as much as possible.

Everything is super clean as they offer room cleaning daily, no bugs/flies in the rooms and breakfast area.
Breakfast is huge, delicious and varied.
You just cross the street and you are exactly where unawatuna beach begins, bars/restaurants within literally 1 minute.
Many shops and supermarkets around too.
5 min tuktuk to a very nice fitness center gym that opens at 5am.
They also provide tuktuk and airport transfer services. Very reliable.
Not much, wish they had a pool but that doesn't matter much when the ocean is just across the street.

The property is in a main road but location ok for the beach. The rooms were dark but had a small place to sit outside.
The WiFi was non existent but the room was a good size and breakfast was excellent.
