I had a wonderful stay at Boomerang Guest House in Unawatuna and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and affordable beach getaway.
The location is absolutely perfect—just a short walk to the beautiful Unawatuna beach, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. It’s ideal whether you want to relax by the ocean or explore the area.
The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, with everything I needed for a pleasant stay. I especially loved the balcony space, which offered a nice spot to unwind after a day out.
What really stood out was the hospitality. The hosts were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything—from local tips to arranging transport. They made the experience feel personal and relaxed.
For the price, this place offers excellent value. It’s a great choice for travelers who want a simple, budget-friendly stay in a prime location.
Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Unawatuna.

Lage im Prinzip top, Klimaanlage hat funktioniert, Bett auch voll okay, auch der gratis Scooter war in einem Top-Zustand. Für das Geld kann man nicht mehr erwarten.
Das Zimmer war sehr hellhörig. Schlimmer jedoch war der Schimmel an den Wänden in der Nähe vom Bad. Für zwei Nächte war das für mich irgendwie noch okay, aber meine Freundin hat sich leider nicht wohl gefühlt in dieser Unterkunft.
