Trato amable y cercano al llegar. Nos explicaron muy bien todo lo relativo al alojamiento, así como los servicios existentes en los alrededores (tiendas, supermercados, cafeterías y restaurantes, sitios para visitar, etc.).
Los alrededores son muy bonitos.

Sehr schöne und ruhige Lage in Hinterzarten. Weit genug weg von dem Troubel am Titisee. Die Ferienwohnung war sehr geräumig, auffallend sauber und verfügt über einen herrlichen Rundumblick auf den Schwarzwald. Sie ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man für eine entspannende Auszeit benötigt. Von der eigenen Sauna bis zum Wanderrucksack ist alles vorhanden. Es gibt eine voll ausgestattete Küche und (für die kälteren Tage) Fußbodenheizung. Was will man mehr?
Das Personal ist sehr kompetent, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Bisweilen steht auch der Chef selber noch am Empfang. Man merkt sofort, dass das Haus inhabergeführt ist: Es gilt der Blick für das Detail - sieht man heute nur noch selten. Einen schönen Gruß an dieser Stelle auch an "Bobby" - dem lieben Hund der Inhaber.
Wir denken gerne an die Zeit zurück und kommen gerne wieder.
Da muss ich läger überlegen. Vielleicht wäre es eine Idee, wenn den Gästen der Lodge auch der Zugang zu dem Wellnessbereich im Haupthaus zustünde. Für Saunagänger ist dies nicht wirklich notwendig, da die Lodge über eine eigene Sauna verfügt. Aber die Nutzung des Pools etc. wäre sicher ein Plus. Tatsächlich war jedoch ein solches Arrangement nach einer kurzen Anfrage an der Rezeption gegen eine jeweilige Tagesgebühr ohne weiteres möglich. Ein fairer deal.

The place was nice, spacious and peaceful.
There are no cleaning services, until you ask for it. Even after asking nobody came to change my towels or the clean my apartment. I stayed for 7 days. Even I was supposed to pay for it, it wasn’t free.
But once you arrive they will give you a list of things you need to do upon leaving, eg run the dishwasher, remove bedsheets, vacuum the apartment etc or else you will be charged.
Also, there is no sign outside for the check in, and that happens in the hotel, two houses away down the street. So you can end up going with your luggage back and forth, and I wish we were informed about this ahead.
The day I left apartment and was going towards the airport, Ive got an email saying that I have outstanding fee for tourism, that I haven’t paid. Also nobody bothered to tell me that while I was there.
Once you are staying in Hinterzarten you can get a train ticket, but even for that I had to go to the hotel next door myself and ask for it.
