Andrea & Robert were the most amazing and welcoming hosts, making our family feel welcomed and offered outstanding recommendations for the local area. The house was clean, comfortable and had what we needed. The surrounding area was perfect, lovely walks from the property and woods with play areas perfect for our kids. The breakfasts were a highlight and we still think of them fondly. Thanks again for such a wonderful stay!

A real gem in the heart of the Black Forest! Hinterzarten's Hollhouse is a charming, authentic home with a rich heritage and the perfect base for exploring the region.
We stayed in the cosy guesthouse, which offers everything you could need for a comfortable and relaxing stay after long hikes and days spent discovering nearby and more distant highlights.
It’s a wonderfully fresh and peaceful place, even during the hottest summer days, and an ideal spot for exploring the wonders of the Black Forest.
Our hosts, Andrea and Robert, took such great care of us that we didn’t have to worry about a thing. From the spotlessly clean, fully equipped accommodation to the delicious breakfast, everything felt thoughtful and welcoming.
The breakfast was particularly a highlight, with local specialities, Andrea's freshly baked bread, cakes and homemade jam, as well as fresh milk from the dairy farm across the street.
They were also incredibly helpful in recommending the best hikes, restaurants and leisure activities. Their local knowledge and personal tips made our stay even more enjoyable. We loved hearing their stories and discovering the region through their suggestions.

Sehr schöne, durchdacht ausgestattete Unterkunft am Waldrand – und trotzdem nur wenige Minuten zu Ort, Restaurants und Bahnhof. Das Chalet war blitzsauber. Man merkt, dass hier mitgedacht wurde, bspw. sind an den entscheidenden Fenstern feinmaschige, unbeschädigte Fliegengitter, sodass man das gesamte Chalet durchlüften kann ohne Insekten hineinzulassen (ist für uns als Städter ein Bonus!). Das Bad und die Teeküche (ohne Essenserwärmung) mit top Kühlschrank sind so sauber, als ob sie gestern eingebaut wurden. Der Junihitze im Rheintal sind wir hier oben äußerst angenehm entkommen.
Das Frühstück ist ein echtes Highlight: selbstgebackenes Brot, hausgemachte Marmeladen und regionale Produkte in großer Auswahl. Die beiden aufmerksamen Gastgeber sind höfliche, warmherzige, unverstellte Menschen, die mit guten Tipps zu Ausflügen und Restaurants gerne weiterhelfen, ohne dabei aufdringlich zu sein. Ziemlich einzigartig in diesem Kontext. Es ist daher nicht unangenehm (ganz im Gegenteil) nur eine von maximal zwei Gästeparteien zu sein.
