It was very central in Goreme with shoos and restaurants close by
It was a bit noisy with people above me watching football and being very loud until nearly midnight

The staff was very helpful even before our stay to help us book hot air balloon sunrise flight at a better price that you could find online (140€ cash). The beds and pillows are comfortable and the room is spacious. You have a kettle and tea/coffee in our room. The view from the terrace to see the hot air balloon at sunrise is really great. The breakfast is mainly Turkish style but with very nice options especially if you're a vegetarian.
The pool was already out of service, although there were 20 degrees outside during the day

Breakfast was brilliant. Cereal, boiled eggs, cheese, breakfast sausage/luncheon meat, tomatoes, olives. I was well fed at the start of each day. When I left early before breakfast I was given a half loaf sandwich to keep me going. Room 208 had a great shower. My balloon flight was arranged through Goreme Rooms and was brilliant. Staff were very helpful. Excellent views of balloons from the terrace.Make sure you stay more than two nights. Some folks missed out on balloon flights as there was poor weather for two days. This spot is right in the middle of Goreme so you have an easy walk to many wonderful places to eat and you can walk to the Goreme Open Air Museum. If you like hiking it a good base to walk the Rose Trail, Green trail, and up to Uchisar Castle along either Love Valley or Pigeon Valley from here.
Lighting in room could benefit by adding a reading light you could switch off from the bed.
It is not the fault of Goreme Rooms but the roof of the restaurant next door is used for breaks by their staff so they can look into room 208 if you do not keep the curtains drawn. With many people going off to see balloons it can be noisy at 05.45 onwards. Make the most of that and get up too and see the wondrous sight of tens of balloons.

Great location: The property is in a convenient and well-positioned area.
• Disappointing breakfast: The selection was incredibly basic, offering almost nothing of substance.
• Rude service: The morning breakfast attendant had a very bad, unprofessional attitude.(the guy who clean)
• Closed amenities: The swimming pool was completely unavailable during my stay.
• Lack of maintenance: The viewing point was in completely unusable condition.
Overall, the great location doesn't make up for the poor service and neglected facilities. I would not recommend staying here until they improve their hospitality and maintain their property.
