A stylishly modern interior in a beautiful old house , perfect breakfast, spacious room ( we had the Suite ) with views over the river , the lifting brdge and passing boats. Off street parking. The family running the hotel were very kind and helpful. The old town centre is 5 minutes walk away; it has some amazing old architecture, great restaurants and plenty of shops.
Personally I loved being on the water front but some may find the passing cars a bit noisy . However the nights were quiet .
