About this condo rental
Located in South Beach Miami, this charming condo for $250 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Enter your sparkling white dream-like vacation hide-a-way. This Ocean Front/Ocean view gem is located on Ocean Drive in South Beach in the most desirable South of Fifth neighborhood. Located in one of the original Ocean Drive Art Deco Hotels, (Somerset Hotel; circa 1939). The beach is easily accessible just out the back door. The condo is equip with a Beach Club Card which allows you to receive two FREE beach chairs and one umbrella for free at Esteban's Place Beach Service (this is a $40.00 value per day anywhere else). PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS NO PARKING IN THE BUILDING There is a parking lot one block up on Ocean Drive in-between 4th and 5th street prices vary and are negotiable and very convenient. There is also a municipal garage 4 blocks away on Collins and 7th street they have the lowest prices in the area. We recommend our guests to download - he best parking app - or - Spot hero - for availability and prices in the area. Enjoy the palm trees and ocean views and the ever-changing colors of the sunrise right out your windows. – Then step out and walk into the center of all the South Beach action. Lincoln Road, Bars, restaurants, clubs, lounges, and shopping as well as supermarkets, pharmacies, banks, bike rentals and car rentals are all in walking distance. Inside my apartment- you will be lost in tranquility! Furnished with top of the line appliances and fixtures, a complete kitchen, FREE WIFI, chic beach cottage décor, and 100% cotton towels and linens you will enjoy a luxury not normally seen in comparable vacation rentals in the area. There is a freshly clean comforter provided between every guest. The condo is on the 2nd floor Ocean Front - with view of the ocean, palm trees and newly renovated pool (from every room) – has lots of natural light with three windows that are dressed in sheer toile curtains and plantation blinds. There is an elevator, 24 hr. laundry on each floor, beach side pool and direct beach access (not across the street like other rentals). There is no better location than this charming oceanfront pied-a-terre. The condo sleeps up to 4 people maximum, 2 in bedroom (queen) and 2 adults or children on a twin size day bed with trundle in the living room. All linens/towels are provided. There is a completely stocked kitchen, full size appliances, gas stove, microwave/convection and cabinets stocked with glassware and dinnerware should you want to eat in or entertain. There is a dining table for 4. Living area has comfy day bed/sofa and flat screen TV with cable, the perfect place to kick up your feet after a long day at the beach or strolling around South Beach. There is a separate bedroom with queen size tempurpedic mattress, flat screen TV and ceiling fan. The bathroom state of the art shower that has custom designed grey tile and marble bathroom has a top of the line rain shower and shower seat to sit and wash off the sand between your toes. There is plenty of closets to organize your clothes and store your luggage. It is equipped with an iron, hairdryer and vintage art deco light to help you get ready for the Miami nightlife! Additional beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and beach towels are also provided. Absolutely no smoking in the apartment, which will result in forfeiture of full deposit. We have a smoking alert system in the unit, other than the smoke alarm which chemically detects smokes and notifies us via text message.

Nice location and property condition. Be mindful that air-con units are very loud, every night there was a group of neighbours sitting around swimming pool until late night, so you cannot keep windows open if you want to avoid the noise. Beds are not comfortable to sleep, and I would suggest need replacement of mattress and pillows. On the plus side - sea view from windows is amazing, access to the beach and beach card is definitely a plus (although fairly priced in), helpful beach toys, towels, etc. Unit is equipped enough to do cooking, but kitchen feels small and cramped, so we didn't really use it much.

The place is exactly as advertised and consistent with the pictures. We didn't understand the reviews about the stairs, they were clean and well lit like any stairway you would find in a hotel or apartment building. The place was close to everything but far enough down the beach from the nightlife so that it was quiet. Being a small building there was not much competition to use the private swimming pool or even the public beach behind the building. The back door takes you past the pool to the boardwalk where you could take a romantic evening stroll without feeling crowded or unsafe. This was a great property, especially for 2 people.

I would advise to bring extra washcloths that you can leave there. Condo was nicely decorated and stocked with about everything you would need or use whether it be cooking in or laying on the beach with a cooler. Sent notification that a few things needed attention.

It is close to the beach, However there is a heavy homeless population in this area. No balconies at this hotel even beach front. The hotel employees were very fast to return an email if you needed something. The room is an absolute maze of light switches which many light bulbs were burnt-out. The rooms were clean but the stairwells had not been cleaned in years they were absolutely nasty.

It was so nice seeing the sunrise every morning from the windows of the condo. It's full of natural sunlight all day. The condo was very clean and well equipped. The owners are very accommodating and quickly responded to anything we needed. There is a property manage, on site, during the day. Everyone was very friendly and helpful! The location of the condo is perfect! You can walk out the back door and you're at the pool. Then you walk a few hundred feet and you're at the beach. What more can you ask for? It is so conveniently located that you do not even need a car. Thank you again to the hosts

I will start with the views! Direct ocean views from bedroom and living room windows that will blow you away! Sunrise heaven. All day views. And steps to the pool and beach. This unit is the closest unit in the building to the water. The complimentary beachside lounge chairs and umbrella through Esteban's were icing on the cake. If weather is sunny but cool, you can find poolside warmth and wind protection.
The location is perfect. Right on Ocean Drive and 1 block south of 5th Street. Quiet area but 2 minute walk to the action. Restaurants, live music, coffee shops, and more. We did not rent a car. We walked, rode citibikes that can be rented as needed, and ubered when needed.
Any questions or issues, manager Claudia responded within minutes. For example, she had a new coffee pot delivered within 2 hours of my message to her that it was not working. Do not hesitate to contact her.

Loved Old Havana restaurant there. And even smoked my first cigar.

If you have an aversion to noise or a nearby party atmosphere then stay away. If you want a really cute and clean unit on a beach, walkable to great restaurants for a really affordable rate, this is it.
I'd go back. I recomend not renting a car, parking is expensive. Uber from the airport is easy and there's car rental places in town for day trips.
