Staff was excellent and the room was very clean. Towels replaced as needed. I prefer a firmer mattress, but my husband loved the softer mattress, so just a personal thing. Location was perfect for touring Campobello island and since it getting close to off season, it was handy to have more eating options just across the bridge in Lubec, Maine.

Locatrion. Location. Location. We were in the "Inn" not the cottages. The modest room was clean and the bed and linens were high quality. As reported in other reviews, the walls are thin. We could follow the conversation of the guests in the neighboring room. Fortunately, they were early to bed and noone used theri TVs. Breakfast at the neighboring Porch restaurant was great -- both the food and the service. The word "Inn" in the name of the facility is a bit of stretch. There are 10 side-by-side rooms, much like roadside motels with each unit/room having its own entry door. See the website for picture.
