The location was tin an apartment complex, and surely there lived a lot of people, but he heard nobody. It was very quiet. And it is in waking distance to Forum Maximum, Forum Romano, Coliseum and other known historical locations in Rome.
There was no option for making coffee or tea, we missed that.

Solo il wi-fi
Situata in palazzo fatiscente in zona Piramide/Ostiense, quartiere che sta diventando abbastanza “in” ma è comunque lontano dai centri principali se ci si muove a piedi. La metro però è vicina. Si tratta di un corridoio con qualche camera, un appartamentino convertito con pavimento in linoleum e un distributore per la colazione. La nostra camera era molto piccola e arredata con mobili molto cheap, con un solo comodino e un armadietto minuscolo. La televisione era minuscola che a malapena si vedeva, ma poco male. Molto male invece che la porta del bagno fosse a soffietto, sospesa, con aperture sopra, sotto e ai lati perché la calamita non funzionava bene. In pratica il bagno non aveva porta, con fastidiose ovvie conseguenze. Come se non bastasse la camera ci è stata rifatta una sola volta su tre notti e la pulizia in generale lascia a desiderare. Posso capire che è una soluzione senza pretese e che alla fine uno ci dorme e basta, ma allora deve costare quaranta euro e non cento a notte. Assolutamente vergognoso per quel prezzo.

La ubicación
La tapadera del bater suelta , un paquete de tabaco con dos cigarros apagados a la mitad dentro ,la nevera sucia , pelos dentro del mueble del cuarto de baño , el aire no funcionaba , la tele tampoco , la habitación no es la de las fotos … resumiendo la peor habitación que estado en mi vida.

Muy buena ubicación. Al lado de la estación de trenes Ostiense.
Sólo estuvimos un a noche porque luego nos fuimos a Nápoles, pero lo poco que pudimos ver nos gustó y nos pareció un sitio muy recomendable para alojarse.
En todo momento estuvieron comunicados con nosotros para ver cuando llegabamos y estuvieron atentos a nuestras necesidades.
No hubo nada que no nos gustase

Solo la presenza del distributore di bevande e caffè all'interno (Ovviamente e giustamente a pagamento). Dimensione camera adeguata.
Al momento della prenotazione su Booking.com risulrava in via Pellegrino Matteucci 118. Solamente la sera prima mi comunicano che la struttura è un'altra e si trovava in piazzale Partigiani (dalla parte opposta della stazione Ostiense) e questo crea molti inconvenienti (soprattutto nelle ore serali, la zona non è molto sicura) è stato poco serio dirlo solamente la sera prima. Personale, a parte il momento del check in, assente e con risposte minime anche su WhatsApp (al check out mando la foto di dove ho lasciato le chiavi e neanche mi hanno risposto.... Poco cortesi). Struttura poco pulita. Prezzo elevato per il servizio offerto. Insomma, lo sconsiglio vivamente.

The place is really close to the bus stop and metro station. The staff responded to messages rather quickly. Wifi works.
The place is basically a scam. A day before our arrival we were informed we were staying in a different location than listed on booking. The place's standard was much lower than advertised and shown in the photos. The room and bathroom were extremely small, and not well kept, the walls were dirty, and everything was in a bad condition. The place is not a hotel, but rather an apartment with rooms. There is nobody permanently there in the reception.
Before our arrival, I informed the place that we are going to arrive at 6 pm (they asked about it on 3 different instances). We were informed that we could enter our room but would have to wait an hour for somebody to come, check us in and take our payment. The alternative to this was sending them photos of our documents via Whatsapp (???). We decided to wait. However, that staff member was more than an hour late, so we basically wasted 2 hours just waiting in the hotel for her.
What is more, the staff member who was checking us in said that we have to pay the full price and that the 30% we paid prior as a booking fee will be returned to us by her coworker. That was already weird, but then when I asked for that money back, that coworker argued with me that I never paid any booking fee, despite our clear communication about it prior. After minutes of arguing they "double-checked" and our payment was magically discovered. I still do not know if they were trying to scam us or were just really disorganised. Either way, it was really unprofessional and very stressful.
The price is definitely too high for a room of this standard. I have been to youth hostels that looked better than this.

the surrounding area seems a bit shady at night, the walk to actually take the metro is like 10 minutes (must go in/out and in again the station to reach Piramide metro station crossing through piazzale dei partigiani) - still way better than going through the streets

The room inside was clean, with fresh towels, outside the property the location was dirty. The room was big enough, but the hall to the room was very little, not enable two persons to stay in the same time.
Although the "hotel" initially told me that I would have the room from 4:00 PM, 12 hours before arriving I was informed that I would have the room from 7:00 PM! In reality, I had the room from 8:00 p.m. after I threatened to complain because I had already paid and I couldn't stay.
The staff at the reception did not behave in a professional way, telling me to stay in the lobby of the building (the so-called hotel consists of 4-5 rooms in an apartment building) or where I want until they can offer me a room. I repeat, the room was already paid for 3 nights.

It was all exceptionally good - the location was perfect, close to all amenities. The room was very clean and comfortable. There was daily room service. Very much worth it!

The rooms were fine for the price and the hotel is conveniently located near a train station.
We were not aware that we would have to pay a surcharge for arriving after 21:00. This is explained in the conditions, but if you don't know to look for it, you will never find it. We had replied to 3 seperate messages requesting our arrival time via booking.com, whatsapp, and also email, and each time we had said that we would be arriving after 9, and only after the third reply, on the afternoon of our arrival, were we told that we would need to pay extra. We had to pay 10€, seemingly for the privilege of having to send payment details via whatsapp, and for having to find our key outside in an open box with no lid. There were other sets of keys there too, so that even after we had removed ours, anybody else could have taken the others and got into the building. There were no staff there when we arrived, and so we were asked to send photos of our passports via whatsapp, which is very insecure and should not be common practice. I just don't understand why we had to pay 10€ for something that made our stay much more inconvenient and insecure for us, and more convenient for the host.

clean room, the staff was kind and approachable, the check-in and check-out procedures were smooth even though the reception closes at 9pm and I had to check-in by myself.
I had two requests: have a water heater in the room and to leave my luggage in the reception after the checkout to pick it up later, and both were easily fulfilled.
Bed was soft and comfortable, bathroom was small but with everything it's needed.
altogether, a great stay and a great value for what I paid.
Probably a second night stand next to the bedroom would've been nice, it was hard to find space for everything on the top of it, just with one, but it's just a little detail, not really something I didn't like.

that is the only thing i liked
the organization of the structure. they booked me for one room and when i reached to keep my luggage they told me that my room was on the opposite side of the station but the check in was in the apartment where i was . this created discomfort first because i had very little time and also i have walked all day so i was not in the mood for walking more with luggages.

The location was perfect and easy to get around. Great restaurants everywhere. Easy to access once checked in. The pillows were great as a side sleeper
Table was dangerous... it was very weak and actually fell with a little pressure. Dishes had wine splashes on them, so used the plastic cups supplied. Started with a low roll of toilet paper and extras were outside the room. No soap supplied in the bathroom. Light fixture next to bed was broken so didn't attempt to use. Shower needs a new shower head. It sprays everywhere but down or gushes like a preasureless hose.

The fact that the room had a terrace was quite nice.
Unfortunately, I didn't like almost everything else... First of all the room is NOTHING like what is shown in the pictures, it's in really poor condition (there's mould in some parts of the wall in the bedroom and all over the ceilling in the bathroom). The mattress and the pillows are extremely unconfortable. After a long tiring day I was ready to let those things go, but it happens that also the walls are paper thin so we could hear EVERYTHING that was going on in the room next to us (and there was a looot going on!) and also every noise from the entrance of the building... Since the door of the bedroom is just a door that immediatly opens to the staircase of the building. Needless to say that I spent the whole night without being able to sleep... So I am quite disappointed with this stay. Besides that, the final price was supposed to be €49, paid at the check in, I paid with a €50 bill and didn't get any change back... That is just a detail, because it's just 1€ difference. But after the terrible experience, the small details also make a difference!

the location I was told to come wasn’t the same as where I stayed, they just asked me to go there to take payment. then the actual place I stayed was around 850m away. dragging heavy luggage in the boiling afternoon sun was unbearable, and so unprofessional of the hotel. They could just take the payment by card before arrival.

The room and restroom are cozy, cute and clean. I arrived late in the night and the check in was super easy and the person who help me on the phone was helpful. The reception lady was generous and helpful!
-Unfortunately we got the room just next to the reception and there were always people talking and I was constantly waking up. This wasn’t so nice :(
-I was charged 20€ because we arrived during the night. This was a bit annoying.
-The shower was super clogged, therefore it would be good if they used a cleaning product that would help prevent this situation
