Excellent bed and breakfast, stayed at a number of B&B this was the best, Easy parking,comfortable bed and clean modern room with lovely views over fields .and well kept garden Local pub just a short walk with good entertainment, Host Aly and Simon very engaging and willing to help with any requests. Highly recommend
Shepton mallet nearby was a little sad and in need of investment.and small tv in room But we did not come to visit this place and watch tv all day

The Old Stables is a unique place to stay, it is a fantastic building with so much history. The breakfast is really great with so much choice made with quality ingredients, you order your main course the night before by way of a menu sheet and state what time you would like it. Our bedroom was “The Granary” which was very large with an enormous very comfortable bed and the en-suite bathroom had both a bath and separate shower cubicle. We really enjoyed our 2 night stay here and definitely recommend it if staying in the area.

Stunning building, warm welcome from hosts, quiet grounds, nice room, short walk to local pub, easy parking, good connections to surrounding visitor hotspots.
There wasn’t a single thing we didn’t like about the property.
