The rooms are perfect, lovely balcony, comfy bed, great kitchen and a modern, clean bathroom. The staff were amazing, the bartender Spiros was exceptional giving us advice for what to do around and just generally being incredibly hospitable. The pool area was stunning with lovely sun loungers and get bar drinks and food. 100% recommend.
Honestly I don’t have a bad thing to say.

the family are lovely
although it been renovated the bathroom is dire. The plastic bathroom cabinet is full of stains that can’t be removed as it’s so old and the rest of the bathroom needs completely ripping out.
the soul seemed to have gone out of the mathraki and having been on numerous occasions I don’t think I’ll go back while the studios remain the same.
The bar on a nighttime was deserted which was a shame because you didn’t want to have a drink and they lost a lot of custom
although food is available during the day this stops on a night which was fine for us as we like to eat at different restaurants. However, some people were upset to hear that this has stopped but understand that it must be a difficult decision to make and family comes first.
we are in arillas next year but sadly we will be staying elsewhere..
