Amazing view. The staff was kind. All facilities were in a good state. I would book again :)
Driving there is a nightmare. Doable but hard for someone who does not drive daily. The owner helped a few times with parking

They kindly welcomed us at the restaurant and offered us some juice while we waited to get our keys. The room was clean, with a balcony offering a bit of sea view, but mostly blocked by trees and buildings. The room had twin beds which we were able to stick together, even though we requested a double bed. It was equipped with basic kitchen appliances and utensils for some basic food preparation which is good. The bathroom was nice, clean and new. The furniture in the rest of the appartment was ok.
Staying at Zeus Throne was a mixed experience. The AC unit is installed right above the bed, so when we had it on during night, it was quite uncomfortable. The cabinet under sink, after opening, had a very distinctive mold smell. Closed it right away and never opened it again.
We had an uncomfortable situation with the towels. It says on the leaflet that towels get changed twice a week. This is understandable to me. We stayed for three nights and were expecting that maybe after the second night we would get new ones - one had a slight discoloring already when we got it. When this was not the case, we went to the reception asking if we could get new ones anyways. The person responsible got into sort of an argumentative position explaining to us why it is a problem, why we cannot get new ones and so on. In the end, after about 10 minutes we were able to get one new one.
While I understand and am ok with the towels not being changed every day in this kind of accommodation, I really would expect that upon our specific request, there would be zero problem with us getting new ones, especially when one was not completely clean the moment we got it. This was not very customer-facing behavior.
Overall, would not come back to Zeus Throne II. Seems like we didn’t get our value for money at all. I don’t understand how it got such high rating. It’s also important to note that there are two accommodations next to each other - Zeus Throne II and Zeus Throne Suites. Also, the whole neighborhood did not seem too accommodating to us, filled with overpriced restaurants and places (with few exceptions).
