This is by far one of the nicest and closest properties to World Famous Gulfstrean fishing in Hatteras NC, 4 full service marinas with offshore and inshore charter fishing just moments away. Or take a free ferry ride to historic Ocracoke Village on Ocracoke Island, Just a few miles up the road is the house where Nights in Rodanthe was filmed. Elevator service to all levels makes Durant Station a most convenient choice for all ages: no need to haul luggage and groceries up long flights of stairs! Guests are just a few short steps to the ocean via a private wooden walkway. The Hatteras area offers some of the best fishing and sun bathing on the East Coast. At Durant Station you'll enjoy a host of amenities including one of Hatteras Island's largest private pools with an adjacent hot tub. Towels stained, pillows smelled of body order, blankets were stain and was told, if we used just fold and return to closet. Water dispenser in fridge door was filthy. Would not stay in this condo again.

We loved the location. We had a great view of the Ocean. The property owner was terrific and very responsive. We will be back for sure. The only downside was that the floors were dirty, and some places could have been more dusted. The first night my feet were black from the floors. Everything else was immaculate. I just washed the floors and got on with the fun and frivolity. In no way, shape, or form a deal breaker. Thanks for letting us enjoy ourselves.

Could see the sunrise from porch, kids got to see lightening and moonlight over the ocean, played in the pool and at beach everyday. Good book selection for the kids. Did some laundry - need quarters. Kitchen was stocked well. Very relaxing and fun visit.

We stayed at this condo last year and loved it so much, we came back again this year! The property is the perfect location - a few minutes drive to all the restaurants, grocery, etc. in Hatteras Village, and you walk right out onto the beach. The condo itself is lovely - everything you need, clean, and up-to-date. The pool and hot tub are also great. My son also loved the clubhouse when he wanted a break from the beach. We will definitely be back!

This was exactly what I was looking for and I could not have been happier with the beach, the property, the location. I wanted to get away and that is exactly what I did. I will go back to Durant Station again and again while we prepare to move to the small town on Hatteras Island.

Great property, great manager, amenities and communication. Host is top notch and provided as good if not better stay than other units we had stayed at the same location when we had to utilize a real estate company.
