wouldn’t change a single thing, we all had the best holiday

The apartment was amazing, the view was the highlight of the apartment, there was plenty of room for 7 adults. We would definitely come back again!

1 bed was super comfy, the other we found quite hard but honestly it did not ruin our trip, just some feedback.

The outstanding views, comfort and cleanliness of the apartment!

We would have liked a bedside lamp on each side of the beds and also extra body wash lotion and shampoos.

Spacious and comfortable.

Spacious with great views. Access to the golf cart after checkout until leaving the island was much appreciated.

Unfortunately there was a leak from upstairs onto the bed below during the night. The apartment is a little tired and need of some maintenance and updating.

DISAPPOINTED!! overpriced

the location

The room and bathroom at the back of the apartment smelt like vomit. I got the so called manager who got the cleaner to scrub the carpet with something that didn’t help. The bathroom floor still had vomit smeared on it and they refused to clean it. I had to sleep in another room with my daughter. I washed the bathroom floor MYSELF with a god damn tea towel. The gas cylinder for the bbq ran out half way through cooking our first meal. There was no milk provided for our first night and the property manager said “ah it’s only a couple of milks”. There were no instructions on how to operate the oven or TV. we had to get someone back for both occasions. There was no fry pan. we had to cook bacon in a saucepan. I had to get the pool cleaners to come and scoop a dead rat out of the pool. There was no jug for water. The whole place needs a good overhaul. Paint work chipped. all fly screens were broken. every single one. we couldn’t have the windows open. It was very disappointing for $4500 for 5 nights. we would never stay here again. I’m sorry to say we were very disappointed.

Great house. Fantastic views. Lovely, attentive friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Great views. Massive apartment. It's more like a full sized house. Double story.

We ordered a spare fold up bed, but it was literally only a fold out cushion set. For the money charged for the bed and for the rental, a proper fold out bed that is off the ground should be provided. We would have been better off taking a camping mattress with us.

Beautiful view….. unfortunately that’s where it ends!

I really wanted to love this property as the location was beautiful with amazing views…but unfortunately that’s where it stopped.

The property was tired, rundown, dirty with multiple areas requiring repairs. The couch, cushions, rug and bin (the smell was horrendous with a rotting apple core under the garbage bag found) were very dirty, the carpet ripped and floor tiles cracked and dirty. The whole house needs a good paint internally and fixtures repaired. There were old odd plates and glassware and very little amount of pots, pans for general cooking. Three sachets of dishwashing liquid, one tea towel, and a couple of dishwasher tablets were just not adequate. We did not even bother with the bbq as it was rusty and dirty. We paid over $3500 for 4 nights and expected a clean villa with adequate ammenities. Such a pity as the villa could be beautiful with a few Reno’s and modernising. plus we were given a buggy (comes with the holiday house) that was flat and not charged prior to our arrival.

property was a good size and in a fairly good position

to be honest, it was really dirty, dated and in need of repair. the toasters didn’t work, the airconditioner holders fell off the wall, the BBQ didn’t light and we had to get someone to come past and reset the oven.

Unbeatable Hamilton Island holiday home

This property is wonderful - spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean with everything you need for your stay. It is in the northern end of the island, easily accessible to everywhere on foot, by bus or by golf buggy, and away from the crowds. It's perfectly positioned to watch the sunset, while lazing on the balcony with its sea views could not have been more relaxing! We really appreciated the airport transfers and the late check-out. Highly recommended and would love to stay again.

Great place to stay with a large group.

The house was beautiful. Great view and very tidy. The buggy worked well and communication with the host was good. Great fridge with ice and cold water.

The house had very minimal supplies. I would suggest including a broom, mop, bottle of dishwashing detergent (not sachets) and a few pantry items such as oil, paper towel and glad wrap/alfoil. The bedding could also do with a bit of a freshen up.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Cooinda Gardens

The location was great, the house was fantastic and accommodated our group. We enjoyed the large amount of space and the views where very impressive. Highly recommend this property to others.

There wasn't enough cleaning products such as - dish washing tablets for the dishwasher & garbage bags for the amount of our stay. (As we had to leave the kitchen clean on our departure) We found ants in the kitchen and also in the large bathroom down stairs We also didn't have enough white towels for the amount of guest we had :(

Excellent location and layout of the building.

The building needs do up. The interior needs very good cleaning, new carpets and general painting. Most of the fixing is past its used by date when compared to the daily rates for its hire. It's very high price for value...

Although the weather was not good the house provided enough space for enjoyment

Beds were fantastic . Layout of apartment very good !!! Lounge seating and outdoor seating very good !!

The kitchen was poorly resourced. Not many containers , no salad dish, serving platters were also missed. No kitchen scissors or soap . No casserole to use in oven .

We love Hamilton island and the apartment was comfy, very spacious with lovely views.

Location easy at the bottom of one tree hill. Iggy was very handy. A shame you only gave us one apartment key. Not adequate for a 4 bedroom apartment. This was a nuisance.

Definitely needed another set of apartment keys. Also tge back sliding kitchen door is off it’s rollers.

Mediocre. Island is fantastic.

Location, buggy, view, spacious, pool.

Beds were uncomfortable down stairs, taps sprayed instead of flowed, air conditioning was loud in main bedroom & fans were in need of a service. Internet was slow. Two showers couldn’t be used at the same time. Lack of Amenities.

The apartment was a great size for 3 couples, each having our own bathroom. Was very well equipped. Good arrangement with a loan buggy on check out day as our flight wasn't till 3.30pm and check out was 10am. This was greatly appreciated.

Pool was a bit dirty on arrival but pool cleaner arrived on day 3 to clean it and it then was very clean. Hamilton Island is so short staffed at the moment so would recommended pre booking restaurants, spa treatments and golf well before arrival otherwise you will miss out. Very hard to get a restaurant booking.

The view was spectacular, the rooms were large and comfy, the aircon worked very well. Lovely quiet location, the apartment pool was nice too.

The door to the deck was extremely difficult to open and close, very stiff. The Blender and milk frother were all missing working lids. There was only 1 working pair of tongs, all the fry pans were very scratched and not easy to cook with. We found cockroaches in the kitchen cupboards.

Spacious and quiet location.

For the money we paid it could of been a little cleaner. The beach towels had mould on them and some of the bath towels and sheets were dirty on arrival There was a few things broken and not working.

Hamilton Island never disappoints- the buggy was helpful.

The property was very comfortable. Had everything we needed pretty much.

When we paid so much we would have expected that it would have been cleaner. No mop handle, broom handle broken - had to purchase new broom - downstairs patio filthy - could not use. Beautiful property that should present clean.

A great place for a large group, we had a restful and comfortable stay.

There was plenty of space for our family - there were 7 of us, so the 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms worked well for us. The view from the balcony was fantastic and being literally a few steps from the pool was a bonus. Was great having aircon and fans throughout as it was very steamy during our stay. Having a buggy was very handy as we were a fair distance from the main resort and marina.

The property was a bit "tired" looking, could really do with a paint throughout - very obvious scuff marks and dents out of many of the walls. Also needs maintenance in some areas. More attention could be paid to pre check in clean. Some areas were good, other areas not. Cupboards fairly messy like things had just been thrown in by previous guests and not sorted by cleaners. Disappointed that the BBQ was very dirty and and had rusty plates...we had planned on using it. Also it would not ignite automatically. The main deck area furniture was dirty with bird droppings...this should have been cleaned pre check in. The oven was a bit dodgy ie difficult to use and we had to call HIHA staff to assist, they ended up coming out to get it going. This accommodation was not inexpensive and feel for the money paid, everything should be spot on and all amenities described should be in full working order.

Disappointing

Location Harry our valet was polite and tried to help us out.

TV didn’t work. Buggy had a charging problem. One bin bag, no scourer/sponge for pots and pans. Shower head was broken.

Amazing views, spacious accommodation but a little dated

We loved the stay and the staff were amazing. This is a perfect location for a family, the accomodation is very spacious which means no one will feel on top of one another. The views are out of this world and the friendly bird life will keep you entertained.

The accomodation needs a little TLC and the kitchen utensils need refreshing.

No beach towels were available for use as advertised. Not enough towels for each guest for time of stay.
