As other comments and well explained the noise can be a bit disruptive

Great location Friendly staff Good value for money Clean modern charming simple room

The noise from the bar - although it’s mentioned before you book, it was very loud. The people coming in to the room next door was heard due to wooden stairs and door slams shut.

the room itself was nice

we weren't aware that the room was above a busy pub and on the same level as their kitchen. Sleep was difficult. It was bedlam until 2 AM.
