Clovelly Guest House

Enjoyed my short break at Clovelly Guest House in Lyme Regis. After booking, the owner sent a long email with lots of helpful information about the Clovelly and facilities, eating places and what to do in Lyme. Guest house very close to all Lyme Regis has to offer; found walking the best way to travel in Lyme due to the narrow, steep terrain. Car park was a boon as Lyme was congested when I visited. Breakfast items (no cooked breakfast provided) so it was a self-help affair with most items provided, fresh fruit, cereal, yoghurts, eggs, milk, bread, jams, butter etc. Compact but very comfortable room which was serviced every day or not if you hung up the Do not Disturb sign.

Clovelly guest house owners contactable by phone or message, but no-one on site unless you encountered the lady who cleaned the rooms.

Bathroom felt quite tight for space

I like that the self-service breakfast room is open all day and that you can bring your own food in. There was a good range of food with fresh fruit every day.

There was nothing to fault.
