About this house rental
Welcome to our home where you can relax & have fun & when you leave, NO CHORES! I personally clean my homes, so you don't have to!!
Enjoy playing in the river; floating around or kayaking- we have a unique property here where you can kayak the Elk River and explore 3 incredibly beautiful, serene creeks!! Sunsets are beautiful out in the kayaks! Best of all, we have 6 kayaks, so you and your group can all go out together! We have everything you need.
From the kayaks or your yard, you will see Eagles, Osprey, Cormorants, Ducks & Geese. Sometimes even some Turkeys or the Pileated Woodpecker! Numerous Guests have loved Birdwatching here, especially while having morning coffee while watching the sun rise and while grilling out after being on the river or maybe you've had a great day shopping in our very cute little town. Build a bonfire and there's not a care in the world!

This home is completely furnished and includes a fully-stocked kitchen- you just need to bring the food!
We have all the linens and towels you will need and plenty of blankets and pillows, too, and all beds are freshly made prior to your arrival, so you don't need to do a thing!

We had the most amazing time at this location. The views were out of this world, and the host Kim was so friendly and helpful. We are very excited to stay here again someday, thank you Kim for everything it was perfect!

Allow me to say that the host was VERY kind and helpful. Her rental property was clean and had everything that a family would need to have a awesome time! Definitely the BEST rental that I ever came across! And once again, I thank you for everything.

Had a great time at Duck Woods, which should also be called Heron Heaven. They were fun to watch from the kayaks. The area is beautiful and laid back. Great eateries and shops. Had fun exploring upper Chesapeake Bay. The house was clean and well-appointed--we didn't need anything. Thanks, Kim!
