Finca Rosa Blanca Coffee Farm and Inn

Quiet and comfortable. Each room is truly unique. The hotel is not far from the SJO airport and was a perfect spot for this coffee lover to spend her birthday. The staff are super friendly and accommodating! Would recommend to everyone to add this to their itinerary while in Costa Rica!

We didn't have a car so we were very limited as to what we could do. The afternoon coffee or coffee tour didn't seem to be happening. Our room was nice with the bonus of a spa, but no view and quite small so we were a bit stuck without anything to do.

Very nice finca, special place. You can see that there is a lot of love put in it. Beautiful pool and the grounds are lovely.

Location is a bit remote, but convenient for the airport.

This hotel is lovely and genuinely strives to reduce its' environmental footprint. To me, it felt like staying in a Gaudi inspired hotel with a Berkeley, CA feel. Our family of 4 stayed in a 2 room villa with plenty of space and comfortable beds. I loved all the tile and murals that make it colorful and authentic. The pool is beautiful and the coffee tour was extremely interesting learning about true organic, shade grown coffee. We also enjoyed walking around the trails and checking out the architecture in the main hotel building. This was our first stop for one night when we landed at San Jose and it was a perfect introduction to CR.

Unfortunately, one of our rooms had a musty smell. Without a/c, it could use a dehumidifier. Also, the staff is pleasant, but not overly welcoming. When we arrived, we weren't given any information about the grounds or facilities, but the property is not that large so we figured it out. The restaurant service and atmosphere were excellent, but the food is average. The breakfast could use some creativity to enhance flavors--it was a bit bland. The dinner was good, but much more expensive than it should be. Lastly, the pool could use a couple more chairs. All 8-10 were being used when we first arrived.
