My late Partner and I had been coming to Luz with our Son on and off for the last fifteen years. We absolutely love Portugal and especially Praia Da Luz ,it is a quiet and peaceful place away from the maddening crowds! Ocean Villas is the place my Partner and I used to walk past each time and said one year we will stay here. It is a hidden gem in an unspoilt part of Luz. The apartment was spacious and clean with lovely sea views. My favourite part is the gardens, the grounds are wonderful with stunning views of the Luz mountain and the ocean. I will come back but request a top floor apartment next time. My one gripe was the Customers above us, who made quite a bit of noise at night which was more noticeable on a tiled floor.
Overall we had a really lovely time. Special mention for David, who went above and beyond helping with the booking, keeping me informed and was so helpful during our stay. Thank you!
Our flight was an evening flight and was delayed. The taxi transfer was waiting but by the time we reached Luz it was dark. To add to matters the lights were off round the pool area and I couldn't find the security box in the dark but my Son had a torch on his phone and managed to find the keys. If I was on my own, I would have been stuck I think and probably would have slept on one of the sun loungers. I thought it was funny but if Customers are travelling later in the day, it would be nice to have someone to meet them.

The apartment was amazing with great location (close to restaurants, shops and city center) and an amazing view of the ocean. Very well equipped, looked after and clam. Staff was very helpful and nice and on site Mon-Fri.
