The house is a substantial Victorian villa with attractive architectural features. The apartments are well laid out and every possible facility is provided, including luxury fittings, a lockable bike store and outside seating areas. The hosts met us on arrival and David and Anna were most helpful. The town has some excellent restaurants, especially "Stripped" which is a Romanian/Mediterranean fusion.
It was not a problem for us because we wanted a week of exercise on the bikes, but the island can be hilly and the walk down to the beach at Ventnor is quite steep. Anyone with access challenges might want to discuss with the hosts before booking.

Lack of hand rails up the two flights of stairs.
