Everything was perfect!! I had arrived early and they let me settle into my room. The room itself was awesome. The staff members were helpful and the cafe had good food, pastries, drinks for breakfast or snacks. Because the hotel was not full, they were so kind to let me stay in the room and cafe until i had to depart for my late night flight. Location was central to all the cool spots esp Nachalat Binyamin street and Carmel market. Totally recommend Isla. Go already!!
A small fridge would be nice cos summer was so hot and coming back to a cold drink in the room would have been a perfect respite.

The soft bed, locker storage, lighting, access to charge usb and quiet. Easy to understand and navigate. Enjoyed the food and cafe lounge.
The bed machine was not working. Reported this and there was no change. Showers are cold even after 15 minutes. Reported this and was told it is no problem. The water fountain is very slow. Cannot reach the back of locker. No relief from the cold air conditioner. Bathroom is freezing. Floor is dusty/dirty, but probably from the concrete. Music is too loud and repetitive.

I liked that there is good mattress, the lobby, the shower, the accessibility, the darkness in the room
Rusty sink tap, crumbling and molding in where the part between sanitary furniture and tiles or between tiles/floor tiles. Very minimalist storage. Yes. True private hotel room should have a proper big storage with closet doors. Even that consol they had, had barely space to accommodate my clothes and that was a suitcase with stuff for only 2 days.
The AC in the corridor is too cold. I do like it when it's little cold because of summer and I'd define myself as "Siberian" in that aspect, but its on 16° and that is still slightly too cold even for summer to walk in. There was a flood in my shower and the compensation for that was poor. A coffee and a small cake. Eventually even the café wasn't served. I think honestly that for the effort that is required to move the stuff to a new room which is nice that they did so, should be more compensation.
The water takes time to heat but its bearable. The alternative room has pee on the toilet seat. It's advisable to check the alternative room before giving it. I was surprised because I'm a returning customer and have been happily client of this accommodation for several years already.

Perfect location. Countless eating out possibilities around on the nearest streets, supermarket, located in good central district. Hotel itself is renovated, has good comfortable beds. Enough light, good shower with perfectly running water and I never had problems with hot water. AC working excellent and I could regulate it with remote. Reception area is cafe itself, and a very good one cafe! They offer excellent coffee, good snacks and sandwiches. Everything tasted really good. Staff is really good and polite. When I arrived, on the first night I had technical issues with my room which I reported immediately next morning. The manager - very nice lady immediately solved this with very good solution. Big thank you for this. Instructions to get there were provided on time, clear and understandable. Self check in process was very clear and without any problem. The absolute fastest way to get from airport was with train to HaShalom station, there exit and change to metro Sha’ul HaMelekh station and go with metro until Allenby station. Walk is 5 minutes until hotel.
It was not quite clean, still some dust in the corners of the room and shelves. Beddings and towels were clean, but not very properly washed. This should be washed better. By arrival shower gels/shampoos were empty. I guess cleaning staff there is not good, but as I said, whenever I reached to manager, she immediately without me waiting solved everything in best way, so let’s say that might been accidental human factor. Hotel is in the old building and there is no mamad or miklad (safe room or shelter), but nearest bomb shelter is literally less than 1 minute away around the corner in the undergroud parking of tall building. This is not the problem or hotel but only the fact that building is old.
