Room layout is smart and can be fully utilized to maximize space. The room felt spacious for 5 adults with all our luggages. Washing machine and clothes hanger was a plus. The staffs were helpful. There was free flow coffee at ground floor. It was convenient to take water from room kitchen tap. It was effortless to make pre-arrangement of parking prior to arrival.
Strong gasoline smell in room whenever the heater is on, the walk up the slope to reach hotel quite challenging for elderly.

There were 5 of us. Two adults and 3 kids. The staff were very responsive as our flight was delayed and we were not able to arrive before 9pm thus they gave us specific instructions to enter.
The room had a constant smell of kerosene fuel. There is notice to say that it's normal and safe and that this was the norm for Otaru. These fumes made me sick everyday, tummyache and vomited. Only I was affected, the other 4 were ok. These fumes were throughout the entire building. Only when stepped outta the building did I feel better.
