Eine sehr Profit orientierte Unterkunft!

Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr schön und ruhig, der Wohn-Essraum sauber, hell und freundlich eingerichtet.

Lt. Zimmerbeschreibung sollte unser gebuchtes Zimmer 25 qm haben und das Badezimmer im Zimmer sein. Tatsächlich bekamen wir eines mit knapp 14 qm, ins Bad mussten wir aus dem Zimmer raus und über einen kleinen Vorplatz (der mit einem Vorhang vom Gang abgetrennt war) ins Bad. Wir haben das reklamiert, doch ein Herr, der für den Besitzer des Hauses arbeitet erklärte uns, dass unsere Beanstandung zwar begründet sei, er jedoch nichts machen könne...für uns eine sehr unzufriedenstellende Antwort und daher ist der Preis von 84 US Dollar/Nacht für diese Kammer absolut überzogen! Weiters sind Zimmer und Bad sehr feucht, was man an den Handtüchern und unserer Kleidung am nächsten Tag spürte ( es gab auch keine Möglichkeit unsere nasse Kleidung nach einen regnerischen Tag zu trocknen). Das Frühstück sah optisch gut aus, wurde jedoch schon sehr früh hergerichtet und mit Frischhaltefolie abgedeckt. Folglich waren die Pancakes zäh, das Ei kalt und die Sandwiches durchgeweicht.

a pleasant stopover in Nuwara Eliya. Easy access to town and restaurant.

Friendly staff. Clean room and bathroom.

The Booking.com message link to Google map for the location of the property is not precise. but this should be fixed by booking.com. It took me and driver extra time to find it. However, if you don't use the link from the message, instead just search for Andora, it could be found on google map.

Comfortable and homely stay

Very clean and tidy property and very comfortable bed. Good bathroom and good breakfast. The location is good, in a quiet and nice area close to the town (but away from the messy centre). The common living room was nice to relax, especially as Nuwara can be quite chilly. The manager is helpful, he gave us great advice on a day trip visiting tea fields.

Compared to other hotels in Sri Lanka, this one seems a bit pricey (for similar offering), but we were totally satisfied with the stay.

Lovely Stay

Rooms were lovely and location was central to the lake/town. Breakfast was great and quite large but we just took the leftovers for a packed lunch. Staff were helpful. Would recommend.

WiFi was average but that seems to be the norm in Sri Lanka.

Beautiful property in the heart of Nuwara Eliya

This hotel was perfect for our one night stay in Nuwara Eliya. The guest house was really clean and had beautiful views. The room was big and very comfortable. Our favourite part was how lovely the owners were who made our stay perfect! The location of the hotel is also amazing… right next to Themparadu and a short walk to all of the sites. The breakfast was also delicious… we ate most of it and then wrapped up the sandwiches and had them for lunch! Would definitely recommend this place.

Highly recommended

The rooms are comfortable with a delightful ambiance. We especially liked how the design made the best use of natural sunlight. The location is also highly convenient. The staff is friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant overall experience during the stay.

We had a great time and would love to come back.

It was a great experience staying at the villa, the villa has amazing views on the balcony. Excellent breakfast with daily fresh fruits. The owner and his team were polite, friendly and helpful, the chef (Stephen) was fantastic.

The property does not accept payment by credit or debit card, only need to be paid in cash. The WIFI some time doesn't work.

Excellent stay. Very nice people. All requested facilities were provided by the Hotel manager and they also arrange and give you a affordable, vehicle(tuk tuk from the native people who knows the place) to explore entire Nuwara Eliya.

A little gem in Nuwara Eliya.

It's a quiet property, nestled away at the end of a small lane. The balcony gives you a full view of the road and a vegetable garden close by. The owners, Visma and her dad are very polite and helpful. They ensured we were comfortable and treated us like long-lost guests, not strangers. They even provided breakfast to us in their home downstairs. It was lovely to connect with them, understand their lives and relate to them easily. We enjoyed our stay in the room. It was exactly what was listed.

Everything was perfect. There was nothing really that was left out. If we had any problem, uncle was kind enough to get it fixed for us.

My Stay At Andora Nuwara Eliya

I liked the calm surroundings and location. The property up keep is great and the place is clean and provides the soothness of being at home

The rooms are cramped. There is not much space to move around with luggage in the room. I also missed the electric kettle in the room. The property does not accept any credit or debit card and need to be paid in cash which is a big hassle

Everything!! Excellent location. Great host. Good food

Only one thing I would like to mention, though the drivers and the travelling agent are very courteous, initially they have promised to show us many thing on the way to Nuwara to Galle. But actually they didn't show us anything. So that was quite a waste of money.

Good rooms, no view

The property was clean. The rooms were good and a good size.

The view was not visible because it had been blocked by a new build right in front. Do don’t book if you are booking for the view. Breakfast wasn’t very nice. The owners shadowed you quite a bit which made us feel a bit uncomfortable.

wonderful place with very welcoming host it was rainy and a little cold (to be Sri Lanka and very typical up on the mountains) yet we have been welcomed with warm lovely tea and with a spectacular view

Clean rooms, friendly service

The room was very comfortable and clean. We got delicious dinner and breakfast. It was so cold outside, so we were happy that we could use heater also. And we liked the bathroom with the shower kabin and hot water too.
