Tickets are not cumulative but do reset each day. There is no limit to the number of attractions you can visit in a day. Black Bear Lodge is a beautifully decorated 8-bedroom, 8-bathroom cabin centrally located off of Wears Valley Road in Black Bear Ridge Resort. With room for up to 44 guests, everyone is sure to have the time of their lives. You will be welcomed by the luxurious furniture including leather Lazyboy recliners and hand-made wood furniture. The big double kitchen comes fully-equipped for all your cooking needs and features dual stainless steel appliances (yes 2 of everything except the kitchen sink) and plenty of counter space for ease in meal preparation. There is an outdoor charcoal grill. Gather everyone around to eat at 2 over-sized log dining tables. Black Bear Lodge comes loaded with amenities to make you feel right at home with 10 televisions, DVD player and Comcast Xfinity cable, Hughesnet wired and wireless internet to stay connected with the world. As you enter Black Bear Lodge, you are met with a large dining area and living area. Sit and relax, bring your board games to play with the kids. Enjoy the electric fireplace or catch up on your favorite shows on the large flat screen TV. Create memories in your fully equipped double kitchen while cooking your family favorites. This level features 2 master bedrooms with king sized log beds and queen size sleeper sofas plus 1 bunk room with 2 sets of queen-sized bunk beds all with private bathrooms. For additional sleeping you have a queen sleeper sofa in the den on this level. Head out to your fully covered private porch and sit back and rock in wood rocking chairs or sit and relax in your private hot tub. As you head upstairs you enter a large open game room with a pool table, air hockey table and foosball table. This will keep everyone occupied for hours with challenges and rematches for bragging rights. If you don’t want to play a game - sit back and watch your favorite sports team or a movie on the large flat screen TV. This level has 4 master bedrooms with king log beds and queen sized sleeper sofas. Each feature a private bathroom with jetted tub. Also on this level is a bunk room with 2 sets of queen bunks with private bathroom and jetted tub. For additional sleeping you have queen sleeper sofa in the common area. It is a great cabin in an accessible location near many attractions. Only problem was the hot water ,though they were diligent, it took them 3 days to figure out it was the thermostat and fix the issue. Other than that I recommend it.

Our group has been getting together for Thnksmas in the mountains for 13 years . This cabin is one of the best places we have stayed. It is clean and well appointed. Drive to the cabin is relatively easy. There are enough parking places. We had a wonderful time .

We all loved this cabin and we used every inch of it. We had 21 in our group and we needed the extra space along with the double kitchen appliances. Every bedroom had its own bathroom which is awesome. The game area was such a bonus! The personal communication with the property owners was absolutely very much appreciated. Great time! We hope to make this an annual event and we will definitely be contacting Thomas Properties!

The owners of Black Bear Lodge were very helpful and friendly. The cabin was stocked with everything you need. If you plan on cooking you will need to bring all your food and spices, but they have all the cookware needed. There's plenty of room and roughly 9 parking spaces for your group! We loved our stay and will definetely be back!

We were disappointed in the cleanliness and condition of cabin. It shows a lot of wear. Cooking pans in poor condition. It is well stocked with dishes and eating utensils though. We did have a good time but would not stay at this particular cabin again. Needs a good cleaning and some updating.

Our family of 30 people enjoyed the Black Bear Lodge property. The property was clean and spacious enough for all of us. We had to call the host to confirm a broken chair and an issue with one of the stove. However, the host responded right away and sent someone out right away. Besides that, the whole family enjoyed the stay at the property and would go back again.

This cabin was beautiful, perfectly laid out for our family of 32, and clean. We had a very good time exploring this beautiful country. There could be some improvement only in the kitchen amenities available such as a pancake griddle, decent pans, dish cloths, and enough silverware for all guests. However, these were minor and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The cabin was spacious enough for our family gathering of 23. There was enough indoor and outdoor space for us not to feel like we were on top of each other. Also the kitchen was well equipped for preparing large meals, so no real issues there. The area is really quiet and peaceful. The cabin is in a cul-de-sac with a few other cabins but we had no issues with noise from them, nor with parking. Overall everyone enjoyed our stay.

We had a great time at this cabin. It had so much room and plenty of parking. It was close to restaurants and things to do. We did have an issue with a pull out couch, but the management sent someone out quickly and resolved our issue right away. I would definitely stay here again the next time I need to bring a group.

The property was beautiful and was everything we expected. However, the heat stopped working 2 hours after arriving and we were given space heaters that did nothing to warm the cabin. There were no other concessions made to make sure my family was warm and safe. The temperature hovered around 4°F with a wind chill of -10°.

Our family, all19 members, enjoyed this property. It’s far enough away from Pigeon Forge for that “in the mountains “ feeling, but only about 10 minutes away from restaurants and the heartbeat of Pigeon Forge. The openness of the main floor is really great for the total family experience! Two ranges, two refrigerators, etc. meets all your needs for a large get together. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again! It’s very clean! Plenty of parking! Check in process is the easiest ever! You won’t go wrong by booking this property!

We had a great time here. No complaints. This cabin will always be our go to spot when visiting Tennessee 😍. The property was clean, everything the said they had to offer was TRUE!!!! My husband is a very skeptical man about certain. For him to say he REALLY REALLY ENJOYED HIMSELF AND HE READY FOR THE NEXT TRIP, shows that this Cabin is the place to be. And most of all the kids enjoyed themselves.

We stayed July 24-31. I would not agree that his home sleeps 44 people. We had 32 people and it was crowded. We would like to offer some suggestions on what could be done to improve for future visitors. A family of 7 used the main floor bunkbed room. There was no place to put the luggage or any of our items. This room has one tiny dresser with three drawers and no closet. In the master bedrooms, if the sofa bed was extended out so that it was right up against the king bed, so if there are two people sleeping there, one of them will have to crawl over the other to get out of bed. Our feet went black from walking on the unclean floor. We called the management company because we had infants crawling on the floor. The management company did send someone out, but he had a Swiffer mop and a spray bottle. The floors remained dirty. We had also black feet from walking on the carpet, which was very dirty. They must either be changed or shampooed. The carpet in one of the upstairs master bedrooms was torn and had a big hole in it. We went to the local Walmart and bought slippers so we would not have to walk on the floors. The air conditioner did not function properly. The temperature would fluctuate greatly from one night to the next. The bunk bedroom on the top floor was constantly warm. The shower curtain in this bedroom's bathroom was moldy, and the sink and shower faucets were both broken. There are two stackable, extremely small washers and dryers. To finish a typical load, many loads were required. Even with 32 people we were able to make it work. The neighborhood pool is a small one. One day, we tried to go, but the pool was crowded with around 25 people standing shoulder to shoulder. The pots and pans lacked quality and were outdated. Despite our best efforts to keep it from requiring extra work to clean, everything we cooked was sticking to the bottom. The windows on the rear porch lacked screens. Management was very responsive. Our 2nd floor AC wasn't working very well and they responded quickly to my text and a tech was at our door in no time. Problem fixed and all was well for the rest of the stay. Beds were very comfortable, whole house was clean. BBQ area was convenient. Plenty of kitchen ware!! Memories were created here for our family reunion and all were very pleased with their stay. Very convenient to all that Pigeon Forge has to offer.

Wonderful Vacation
Our family had a wonderful stay at this cabin! It was so spacious with plenty of seating inside, huge tables, very well stocked kitchen. The pool table was a huge hit with the teens. The porch and rockers were perfect. And the teams responsiveness when we did have an issue with the AC was nothing short of amazing! We would totally stay there again!

We rented this cabin for our 1st family holiday gathering getaway. The cabin was everything as described online. The manager was very responsive to all of my emails and inquiries. We had a small issue when we first arrived and I sent a message late that evening of our first night to the manager and to my surprise she responded right away. The issue was resolved the very next morning. We had a blast not only hanging out at the cabin but the location to everything in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg was perfect.

We stayed at this location for a family reunion and the layout was perfect. Private rooms and baths and great central gathering locations. Kitchen was great and we were able to easily prepare big meals for everyone. Very minor issue was that there were very limited starter supplies (dishwasher tabs, trash bags) and no basic cooking spices/oils (no salt and pepper/olive oil) but this is a very minor thing and there were lots of stores close by. We loved the hottub and game room! Kids had a great time. Views were incredible. We would absolutely stay again!!

My family traveled from 5hr to as far as 9hrs to spent spring break together. What a great experience we had making memories with each other. The weather wasn’t the best for the outside excursions we had hoped but the cabin had lots of accommodations that kept the kids and adults plenty satisfied. Definitely would recommend this to anyone looking for ample space for eating, sleeping, playing and creating memories.

-One of the dishwashing machines couldn’t be used because it didn’t have soap dispenser.
-The pool table cloth is extremely damaged and so ready to be changed…balls DON’T roll.
-The hockey chips didn’t roll either, table was not usable.
One of the laundry drying machines didn’t have the filter lid and clothes get stuck inside.
