Nestled in Harrisonburg, this charming house for $675 per night is a great choice for your next break. Heated Salt water pool and hot tub on 2.5 Acres. Lawn games & outdoor living room! New for '21 - Stove, Upstairs Flooring, Foosball Table, Board Games, paint New for '20 - Antimicrobial door handles, kitchen items, rear steps to pool and more. Completely separate owner/caretakers quarters onsite, occupied by our property manager. Pool, hot-tub, grilling, etc are private spaces for guests and NOT shared *entrance and egress through pool area* *note playhouse removed * fireplaces off no pets All bedrooms except large children's room have TVs. Two living rooms each with TVs *note playhouse removed/ fireplaces turned off Hot Tub has been moved to poolside, and the patio resurfaced. New patio furniture for spring 2024. Please remind your guests to dry off before sitting or laying on the beds. We provide large black trash bags for you to put your trash in. They are located in the garage on the shelf. Please be aware of the gravel around the spa area. Do not allow kids to throw gravel in the pool. Long private drive shared with one other home For hiking - checkout hikingupward.com or the AllTrails mobile app You will have the entire 1st, 2nd floor, and outside areas. There is a two bedroom self-contained apartment in the basement that myself or caretaker stays in. Pool, hot-tub etc are private spaces for guests. Hot-tub sits beside the pool. **Let us introduce you to some of the best local professionals** Massages - Try a massage over looking the pool. Indoors or outside. Singles or Couples. Private Chef - Large or Small, Breakfast to Dinner Wine Tours - One of the main reasons people come to Virginia - rent a bus and hit all the best vineyards. The outdoor pool has been converted to salt water and will open mid April and close September/October. If this is something you care to use near the time frame of opening and closing, please confirm that the pool is open. Pool is heated to 80 degrees and can be heated to 85 degrees for an extra $100. Pool temperature cannot be guaranteed in April and October. *Please bring your own pool towels and pool toys* *Owner/property overseer keeps completely separate basement quarters w/ own entrance, etc. Pool and hot-tub are PRIVATE spaces for guests* The outdoor living room is the most relaxing location for me. Drinking a cup of coffee in the morning or watching a sunset. It's a wonderful space. There is also a 1.5 Acre front yard for lawn games The traffic pattern near the home changed in 2015 and GPS isn't always correct. Apple maps are correct, other gps maps are not updated. Very close to Costco and Martin's grocery store. 10 minutes to Massanutten. Super convenient location while still have farms on three sides. The city has grown past the home.

Overall the house was exactly what we needed. Plenty of space, the pool and hot tub were lovely! Communication was great! We had a temporary issue with the AC the day we checked in but Carla got it working again almost immediately after we reached out. There was a slight cigarette smell coming out of the vents - not sure what that was about. Additionally we found that the patio had some ashes and buds from cigarettes, so I docked the cleaning one point.

Place was BEAUTIFUL on a hill surrounded by fruit trees and rolling hills. House was IMMACULATE and they thought of EVERYTHING! From kitchen to bathrooms, to bedrooms, any accessory you needed was there! GREAT JOB!!!! and great stay! Just be advised I'm not sure if it was the season, but there were a lot of flies in pool area. Nothing biting just houseflies but a lot!

Really enjoyed our time there. The pool was perfect and can’t express how much fun the kids had in the pool. This place also had some of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in at a vacation home. Highly recommend visiting!

The floor was swept but needed moping. The cupboard doors were sticky (needed cleaning), the refrigerator although clean smelled so badly we had to get a box of baking soda. There were innumerable flies when we arrived in the house (one of us killed 12 in one day with more left). We were told there was an assortment of teas (for instance) and there was 1 bag. Hiking and biking options were too far away...

Overall, for a house of this price I would expect better maintenance and care of the house.
The biggest issues we had are that it could use a deep clean and some repairs done.
Some of the kitchen cabinets were coming off their hidges, the one bathroom floor has water damage, and a few other small repairs would make it a lot more enjoyable. The fireplaces didn't work and when I asked the owner about it, she said they were turned off due to previous guest disuse. Also, the pool heater didn't work so the pool was quote chilly. The owner did tell me this a few days before and offered a small refund or the ability to change the dates.
The house definitely needed a deep cleaning! Under the sinks were very dirty, the laundry room needs organizing/cleaning, the pool area had a lot of leaves and dust everywhere, and there was dust/items under the couches/tables. The beds and towels were clean.
The one queen bedroom is not a room. It is just the loft portion of the 2nd floor so there isn't any privacy.
The owner was very responsive and did seem to want to work with us to address the pool heater issue.
The kitchen is not well stocked. There a very limited spices, pots and pans, and the dishes are all mismatched.
Would I stay here again? Probably if the house is thoroughly cleaned and some updates are made.

We loved this property. My girlfriends and I were very excited about this location and had a nice time relaxing with all of the amenities. Had a few minor issues that were resolved timely. We will definitely visit again. Property manager was responsive and amenable to our requests. A must do!!

Great house to host family for college graduation. Host was very responsive to minor issues upon arrival. Hist also very responsive to questions and requests prior to stay. Great weekend as a family. Have recommended to others for next year.

Wonderful home for a large group. Plenty of space for 5 adults, 2 teens & 2 children to spread out. Home was clean. Good communication and detailed instructions from owner. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans and utensils. We were able to stay in and cook to avoid buying meals out everyday. Just like home. We will be returning when it’s warmer. Great choice!

We rented this property for the Christmas Holiday, the home was situated in a great location with a forest to the rear and near a town center. The home was simply decorated with a Christmas tree and wreath on the front door, we added a few more decorations to complete the look. The home was clean, spacious and with comfortable beds. Carla the host was stellar, responding quickly to our needs. We were unsuccessful with lighting the fireplaces both indoor and outdoor. The host offered an extra night’s stay which worked out perfectly. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and the sound system throughout the house.
We used chef’s hike to cater our family’s holiday meal. [email protected] #240-671-5991. Our five course meal was delectable and prepared to our specifications. There was a beautiful centerpiece created for the dining room tabIe by the chef. I would highly recommend this home, we had over 5,000 square feet of space to enjoy surrounded by Massanutten mountains with loads of nearby activities for the family to enjoy. We will definitely make plans to return!

We just finished staying at this property for Thanksgiving and thought it was great. There's plenty of sleeping space for everyone and space the lounge around. We really liked the fact that it backed up against a forest. We saw plenty of wildlife including deer and cardinals. We would definitely stay here again!

Family Vacation
Our family has taken several trips and this house was by far our favorite. The online pictures were the first to accurately depict the space and property. It's private, but close to many shops, restaurants, and activities. We had a very hot week and enjoyed the inground pool. We would definitely stay again.

Amazing stay in Harrisburg
We absolutely loved our stay at this place! We had four kids under 5 and 10 adults so we all were able to fit comfortably. We had an enjoyable time at the pool literally every day and barbecued every night. With Roku tvs in every room everyone was able to watch what they wanted and the kids room fully got occupied. Bonus all of the sofas were pull out sofas so more personnel could've stayed.

Fantastic bachelorette weekend

Eleven of us (ranging in ages from 5-72) stayed here for my sisters wedding at Red August farm! Everything was great. The beds were super comfortable and the outside lounge area with the fire place was great for some cold evenings! We would definitely stay here again!

We had a group of 10 adults and 2 teenagers and were all incredibly comfortable. This house was extremely clean and well appointed. Communication with the owners was timely and informative. I would stay at this property again, for sure. Can’t say enough good stuff about it.
