Located in Helen, this lovely cabin for $240 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Traditional Cabin with Views, Roomy, Lots of Deck space, Great In town Location Within city limits for easy access to all Helen has to offer, walking distance for shopping, dining, bars, tubing, water park, go-carts, horse rides, hiking, biking, kayaking, mountain roads, views etc. Walk to town and catch a cab back to drive up the hill with minimal fee if you like. At the same time, this cabin offers private and secluded at the end of the road location with plenty of parking space, bring your favorite toy on a trailer to enjoy mountain roads or clear lakes in the area if you like. Second level has great traditional cabin feel with exposed beams in the ceiling, tongue and groove walls in dining area and wooden and stone tile floors along with big stone fireplace. These combined with rustic dining set, comfortable sofas, 42' Led HDTV and lots of windows letting the light in make this level great for get togethers or watching the game or movies from vast 50 DVD:s collection. The deck outside has very nice and private Leisure Bay hot tub, big 7'-9'' square which seats 8, has lots of jets and changing colors for those dark nights. Deck wraps the house and is 12' wide, has nice dining set and a big Char-Grill Duo grill with one side propane gas and one side charcoal along with sideburner. There is also good set of utensils to cook great steak from local grocery store. Terrace level has spacious game room with carpeted floors and special steel ceilings along two private bedrooms which have closets and queen size beds. The game room has pool table, nice sofas, one recliner and the other turns into queen size bed, and of course 36' TV and DVD player. The terrace level doors open outside and there is a simple firepit for roasting those marshmallows under stars. The upper level is dedicated to master bedroom, roomy bathroom with jacuzzi bath and private balcony. The bedroom floor is covered with carpet and huge bathroom has tiles while walls are tongue in groove type wood panels. In the bathroom there is shower, jacuzzi bath, and washer and dryer available for use. There is massive king size log bed, 34' TV, closet with hangers for clothes and a nightstand. You will find iron and small board from the closet. On balcony there are two log style rocking chairs to enjoy the view. If you want to just kick back and relax, we offer Netflix. In main level those can be watched in 1080p resolution from 55" Vizio flat screen HDTV. Keeps teenagers occupied too. The Bavarian Pit Stop Cabin is suitable for families with kids, groups of friends, motorcycle and trailer friendly. The cabin has three stories with stairs, although the staircases are straight and extra wide, it still has limited handicap accessibility to the levels with bedrooms. Being on top of the mountain close to the city it has very good cell phone service, and we have 100 Mbs cable internet with Wifi included.

The property was fairly easy to find & access. The property is secluded, yet still very close to town and most all restaurants/shopping/convenience! The owners have well accomodated the cabin providing most essentials, and even small things we had forgotten to pack, we found they had provided them there. Our three children were well entertained during our stay. The only complaint we had over our weekend stay actually has nothing to do with the cabin, but with the weather, unfortunately we were rained on most of the weekend. Due to the crappy weather, it makes us want to book again and come back to fully enjoy this property again. We enjoyed the entertainment & decor on the bottom floor and really enjoyed your fantastic hot tub. We hope to be back soon! Thanks for all of the accomodating touches to your cabin & thanks for sharing it with others! We traveled a little ways to getaway and our stay did not disappoint, we were able to retreat & relax. This is a beautiful property!

This cabin is exactly as described. The views from the deck are beautiful. There were plenty of towels, and kitchen essentials. The hot tub is well maintained and was such a nice bonus. The host was easily reached when we had a quick question. We are looking forward to coming back in the summer.

The house was everything that was advertised. Great spot local to a lot of things. Very quiet and out secluded. The rain and weather prevented us from getting the full view but overall, a great place to stay.

This was our first time visiting Helen. We rented the cabin to stay a fa few nights. My boys loved game room and pool table. My dsughloved the hot tub. hot tub. It was an all around good trip. Great place to stay.

A friend and I decided we wanted a weekend away in the mountains and we found the Bavarian Pit Stop Cabin on VRBO. We’d never been to Helen but were so excited to find a cabin with a hot tub and a view! We couldn’t believe how spacious the cabin was, we had so much space for just 2 of us! The game room downstairs was an awesome addition, too. The rocking chairs on the porch were so much fun to sit on in the evening. We decided not to rent a car and walked everywhere-but we didn’t realize how much of a steep incline it was to get up to the cabin-or that Uber, Lyft and taxis are pretty much non existent in Helen. I would definitely rent a car so you can get to other places! However, we still had a great time just staying local, trying all the food, going on hikes, and hanging out in the hot tub. We woke up early enough one day to watch the sunrise and the view took our breath away! Loved this cabin, good for all ages!

This property was excatly as described. The locations was just on the edge of town which was perfect because it was a short drive down a hill and you were in Helen, but it was far enough that we didn't hear the music from the events going on in town. The hot tub and view from it was great!

Bed bugs. Bed bugs discovered after first night. Had to vacate to holiday inn for rest of trip our own cost. Promised refund for 4 night stay and have not received. Cabin was not cleaned upon arrival so maybe should not have been surprised by bed bugs.

The cabin was awesome, we really enjoyed our stay with family for my dad's 70th birthday. The cabin was super close to Helen while still being very private at the end of the road with great views from the deck.

The host is great to work with and the home is beautiful with all the amenities needed. You can walk to town but remember what goes down must come up. The home is up a big hill hence the view! Helen is a pretty town with lots of shops. We did the tubing down the river which was awesome. Totally recommend it. Also don’t forget all the vineyards in the area. Some very tasty wines come from North Georgia. Overall, recommend the home and the town for a nice weekend.

Located in a great area and views were beautiful. The pictures that were on VRBO were beautiful but they were not at all accurate, we were so disappointed by the lack of quality and maintenance. 2 Lights stands were broken, 1 lamp shade broken and 1 lamp broken, one of the downstairs bedroom light socket is coming out of the wall, safety Hazzard, the ceiling fan pulls were missing and there was no remote so the fan didn't work. The 2nd bedroom you couldn't open the window to get fresh air as there was no screen. The light over the kitchen sink didn't work. It's extremely dim, not enough lights and the wattage should be brighter, like living in a cave, hard to use fireplace as there was no fireplace set to stoke the fire. The pans were rusty, bowls were broken and glued back together, glasses were chipped and put in cupboard. Master bedroom was nice but the sink drain was broken and we had to put a knife in the drain so that it worked, the light over the washer and dryer didn't turn on. The furniture looked like it was placed in rooms, no theme for the house, pictures randomly placed on walls. No warmth at all. The outdoor table and chairs were in poor shape, it was so dirty we couldn't use without a table cloth, some of the chairs were missing slats. The Adirondack chairs were in good shape. The grill was a unique idea but extremely dirty. I'm personally a rental owner and if my rental home looked like this no one would rent it. When you rent a home you expect it to be the same quality if not better than your own home and very inviting. It was very disappointing, we will come to Helen again but would not rent this home

The heat was out but the owner supplied heaters that helped take the ‘edge’ off. We were comfortable with 6, but easily could have slept 9. Road up is a little steep but very drivable. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again
