The health and safety of our guests during this pandemic is our focus. McKinley House is a new way to stay. Our philosophy is simple--why pay for stuff you don't need? Like for space you won't use because there are just two of you? And how about deposits, linen charges or crazy cleaning fees? Isn't traveling expensive enough? We thought so too, and designed our house to meet your needs--whatever they are. You always get a private stay in a place to call your own at a fair price. From one guest to seven guests, McKinley House expands to meet your needs. McKinley House is located in a nice, quiet, and safe neighborhood just minutes from I-40 and I-27. In total, the house is 1,226 sq. ft. and has a living area, dining area, kitchen, two bathrooms, laundry room, patio, outdoor grill, fenced backyard with kids play area, and up to three bedrooms. Enjoy free high speed Wi-Fi and Fire TV with Max and Prime Video. Guests have access to the gym, sauna and garage at no additional cost. When booking, you are getting a private stay. Bedrooms are made available depending on your needs and the number of guests you book, so please be sure to indicate the total number of guests who will be staying overnight. KING SUITE: The King Suite is a 192 sq. ft. room featuring a king size bed with 14" plush memory foam mattress, nightstand, lamp, sleep sound machine with alarm clock, dresser, mirror, computer desk with lamp and chair, 39" flatscreen TV and ceiling fan. The suite has a private bathroom with a shower and a large walk-in closet. This room accommodates two guests. THE QUEEN: The Queen Room is a 140 sq. ft. room featuring a queen size bed with firm mattress, nightstand, lamp, sleep sound machine with alarm clock, mirror, 39" flatscreen TV and ceiling fan. The room has a shared hall bathroom with a tub/shower combination and has a closet. This room accommodates two guests. THE DOUBLE: The Double Room is a 116 sq. ft. room featuring a twin size bunk bed with 11" plush memory foam mattress over a double size bed with pillow top mattress, dresser and ceiling fan. The room has a shared hall bathroom with a tub/shower combination and has a closet. This room can accommodate three guests and is perfect for kids.

Cannot say enough positives about our stay here! Thanks to the amazing hosts who anticipated our every need, and the beautiful home they shared to accommodate us! The beds were so comfortable and the amount of space was surprising, allowing for ample opportunities in accommodating our needs. We will definitely be repeat visitors to this little gem! What a restful overnight stop we had here on our road trip! Conveniently located off I-40 in a quiet, residential neighborhood, this home provided everything we needed to get a great night’s sleep. Comfortable beds, refreshing showers, cool air conditioning and a great yard for our dog…it was absolutely ideal. Highly recommend!

My husband and I stayed for a few days while visiting family. The house was exactly as advertised, clean, comfortable, and safe. We really liked being able to park our car in the garage versus parking on the street. The check-in/check-out process was very easy. Would definitely rent again.

We stayed one night on the way to Colorado. The house was very clean & everything we needed was provided. The beds are very comfortable. The fenced yard was so great for my 2 dogs. Being able to walk around off leash while traveling makes a huge difference. We will most likely stay here again next summer!

We stayed here for one night so we could visit Palo Duro. The state park is about 20 min away from the property, which was great. The home was clean, well furnished, and the perfect amount of space for our needs. The hosts were attentive and quick to respond! Overall, a great stay. We'd definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was a ranch style home so no stairs for those who may not be able to climb. Home was decorated nicely and had everything we needed. The sauna was a bonus. It was very relaxing! While very comfortable, the beds were high for us shorter people. My mother had to sleep in the bunk room because she couldn’t get up on the other two beds. Overall, we were extremely pleased with the property and enjoyed our stay.

This property is so cute! We were looking for something more comfortable and affordable than a hotel for four people. This gave us everything we were looking for and more! Everyone had their own space, beds were comfy, full kitchen, wifi, with a gym and a sauna in the garage. The owner has been kind and informative since we booked a month ago. We were beyond pleased and cannot wait to travel back that direction so we can stay again!

A very clean and well appointed house in a nice, safe neighborhood! Super easy check in process, a spotless home with all the amenities you may need and property managers ready to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. We commute between South Texas and Colorado frequently and wish we had found this place sooner! Ditch the hotel and stay in a comfortable, quiet, safe and clean home with easy interstate access, or if you’re in Amarillo for longer, this is still the place to stay! We’ll be back for sure!

We normally stay at the Red Roof in on cross country road trips, since they allow dogs for no fee. We happened to need to travel over the New Year holiday. We didn't want to risk any loud NYE-celebrating neighbors at a Red Roof this time, so we found this sweet home to be absolutely perfect for our quiet NYE. What drew me to the property when booking was the enclosed yard - perfect for allowing our dog to run around off leash after a long day of driving. The master bed was beautifully soft yet supportive. It was so quiet at night - almost eerily quiet (if you live in a city where there's usually plenty of noise around!) When you walk into the house, you're greeted by a beautiful clean smell. I absolutely loved that and it really made a good first impression and was so relaxing. We were there for a very short time, but we loved every minute. We will definitely stay here again next year on our annual holiday road trip! The one warning I have for anyone that may need to run late at night or walk the dog on the street - the street has no streetlights, so it's very dark. If you're not used to this, come prepared!

We loved the stay in Amarillo. This home will become our regular stop when traveling from Colorado to East Texas. The property is in a quiet neighborhood and is really nice. The bed in the master suite is a little soft for my liking but it seems most love soft memory foam. The house also has a home gym in the garage.

We spent Thanksgiving here with family. It is a beautiful comfortable home with a weight room and sauna. It has everything! It is the best rental house we’ve ever been in! Only 25 minutes from Palo Duro Canyon! We had a magical fun vacation!
