We had a great family getaway for Thanksgiving! The house was in great condition and have everything we needed for our stay! The location is convenient to several restaurants and grocery store/fish markets. The hot tub was a hit with the cooler temperatures in late November. We would definitely stay here again!

Excellent house to unwind. Just need more trash bags and a few kitchen towels. May want to update refrigerator and definitely need new beach chairs. That’s only minor stuff - overall-great house for the two of us.

Perfect for our family with small children. My boys loved the puzzles, games, and beach toys. We appreciated the home having a high chair, baby gates, stroller etc so we did not have to pack all these items as well. We loved our stay in the "yellow house" as my three year old called it!

This was our first time visiting the OBX and we couldn't be happier with the location and amenities this property offered! Avon is much more laid-back than the Kill Devil Hill area, so it was quiet at night and very relaxing. The layout of the house made it feel much larger - I was nervous 4 adults and 4 kids would be all on top of each other, but we were very comfortable with so many sitting areas, inside and out. The beach was easy to access, and the pool was a great option when we wanted a break from the sand. The kitchen had every appliance and utensil we could have asked for, with an abundance of herbs/spices leftover from previous guests. The Food Lion is an easy 2 min drive away (and a Duck Donuts). We have an EV and happily discovered a good charging station 5 min away. All in all a fantastic stay and we can't wait to return!

Overall, very positive experience. Our family would utilize this rental again in the future. House is very clean and well maintained. During our stay we experienced a plumbing issue, which was resolved in a matter of hours. Great service and communication from the owners and property management! Walk to the beach was 5 minutes. Walk to the pool was about 10-15 minutes, but you can also drive.
