This home is uniquely situated on the inlet off the Muskegon Channel with direct waterfront access into Muskegon Lake and Lake Michigan. It has been updated over the years features 1200sq ft, two bedrooms, one full bathroom and all the amenities of home including; wireless internet, Netflix, AC, dishwasher, washer/dryer, fire pit, & weber grill. There's over 75' of docking to tie up your boat(s), launch kayaks or paddleboards and enjoy all the watersports. Fishing from the dock is great fun for kids, you'll catch a variety of fish. Boating, biking or walking are the best ways to enjoy this area, along the lakes, dunes, channel and piers. Beautiful Pere Marquette and Harbortowne beaches are only a short walk or head out to find your own secluded beach easily accessible by boat, swim, hike dunes and enjoy beach fun. It's truly a great area for walks, runs, bike rides, sunsets and stars. Ships and boats making their way through the channel allows you to see it all from right there. Silversides Submarine and Naval Museum along with a couple parks and play structures are close by in the neighborhood. Dockers and The Deck resturants are walking distance, with great food and live music on the weekends all summer long. The house is exactly as described and pictured. It was very clean. We enjoyed watching the boats go through the channel and evening walks along the beach. It was just a few minutes from downtown Muskegon. Our only wish was that the back room, with the beautiful view, had comfortable seating that allowed for a relaxing evening enjoying the scenery when it was a bit windy to sit outside.

Great location. You can sit out back and watch the boats as they pass by. Bring your yard games and eat and play outside. We had fun. Everything we needed was there. If you plan to use the pullout sofa be aware there are no blinds or curtains so you’ll get to get up early and make the coffee for everyone else

Everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Unique location within walking distance to both Lake Michigan and Muskegon Lake and several great beaches. Excellent communication with host. Immaculate property. We plan to return.

Beachwood-Bluffton is a great place to stay and fish Lake Michigan especially if you’re bringing your own boat. Convenient dock at the rear of the place with quick access to the channel that heads out to Lake Michigan. Marina with launch directly across the street and a couple good restaurants nearby. Also close to the beach!

Love the proximity to the beach and the access to the channel. Was able to fish and set my paddle board in the channel right off the dock. Everything in the cottage was in good working order. Would gladly stay here again.

We had a very relaxing stay at this amazing cottage. There was plenty of space to dock the boat, so lake cruising or fishing were on the daily agenda. Windy days - Muskegon Lake, calm days - Lake MI. Channel fishing and walking were great too. Good times every day.

The pictures do not do this property justice! And the patio by the water is wonderful. We spent as much time out there as we could. Comfortable chairs and cushions. The neighbors are all so welcoming and friendly. Tom and his wife even brought over a happy hour treat. (Cheese, crackers and apples). So sweet. Can’t wait to stay here again.

Everything was great. The view and firepit by the dock were wonderful. The house was clean and quiet and well-provided. Perfect for our short fishing trip. Walking distance to the submarine museum, which was quite enjoyable. Highly recommended.

This was our first time to do a vacation rental and wow, what a great start. The home was adorable, and the location was quiet and beautiful. We found the property owner to be responsive quickly. The house had everything we needed and we enjoyed looking through the many books and such that were on the shelves. The outdoor area was perfect. And we loved watching the boats and the ferry go by. We hope to come back next year.

Great Boating Vacation

The location, dock, deck, and fire pit made for a great vacation - easy to dock our boat and get out and explore the lakes. The house was comfortable, well stocked and well maintained. In addition to a large family room. The living room combined with the kitchen for an open great room. Lots of windows/daylight and at night accent lights in living area provided a warm inviting setting. Will definitely go back.

Beautiful location and home. Convenient to Lake Michigan and Muskegon Lake. AC failed on a warm day , but owner was extremely responsive and had it fixed in a couple of hours. We throughly enjoyed our stay.

We love staying at this property. It’s in the perfect location for the beaches, restaurants, to fish, watch boats. The house is always clean when we arrive. Plenty of space for the week. We love to have morning coffee by the water and a fire in the sand pit at night! This is why we came back a second year in a row and will continue to pick this place if it’s available!

This property was excellent! Probably the best stocked rental property that we have ever had. The views were incredible, the wildlife was so peaceful, we had a wonderful week. The owners were great with communication, and everything was just as we expected it. Would definitely stay here again!
