About this house rental
Nestled in Gardiner, this attractive house for $348 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Yellowstone Northern Views home just completed in January 2018! The house sits on a hillside which affords it amazing, unobstructed, views into the northern edge of Yellowstone National Park. From the house you may see herds of bison, elk and pronghorn grazing on the hillsides. The Roosevelt Arch which is the northern entrance to Yellowstone can be seen from the Master Bedroom and front deck. The house itself consists of a Great Room, kitchen, 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and a utility room. The great room has walnut floors, rock fireplace, huge windows for beautiful views, vaulted ceiling, 2 reclining leather sofas and leather chair. The vaulted ceiling and walnut floors continue through to the kitchen with its granite counter tops, farmhouse sink, top of the line appliances, 2 full ovens, lots of cabinet space and a separate pantry. There are two bedrooms on the upper level. The first bedroom has 2 twin beds, the second bedroom has a king-size bed and attached bathroom with glass enclosed, tiled shower. There is an additional full bathroom on the upper level. Both bathrooms have granite counter-tops. There are two bedrooms on the lower level. One bedroom has a queen sized log frame bed, the other has a king-size bed with an attached bathroom. There is an additional bathroom downstairs, also a separate utility room with washer and dryer. Smart televisions with DVD players are in every bedroom with an additional TV in the Great Room. A large deck extends across the front of the house on the upper level. You may access the deck from the over-sized glass sliding door and/or single door in the great room or from the glass door of the master bedroom. There are also outside stairs leading from the lower level to the deck. The house has both central heat AND air which is very much appreciated in the summer! Separate thermostats control the upper and lower level. The house is equipped with a Renai system which provides all of the hot water one needs. Because the house sits on a hillside, you have privacy but are still within walking distance to the town of Gardiner with its restaurants, shopping, grocery store and post office. The walk to the Roosevelt Arch is approximately 1 mile from the house. Check back as we will be adding more photos as we set up the house. *** We have now added a Pack-n-Play and it's bedding to the house for those traveling with an infant.

This home was so perfect in every way for our group of five photography coming together from as far away as Brazil. These are all seasoned wildlife professionals who know a great place when the see it. Every aspect of the home was great and met our needs. The extra supplies in the kitchen helped so we did not have to run to the market for a spoonfull of anything.
Hopefully we will be back next year, same time same place. Just wonderfull and its capped off with a great view.

This was an absolutely amazing cabin to stay in! If I could rate it higher, I would! The rooms were large, everything was very clean, and the amenities were just unbelievable! I have rented many places for vacations and this is at the very top — #1 — on my list! The views were gorgeous and the wildlife came right up to the deck! It was the best family vacation ever! A big thank you to the owners!

This house was amazing! The views were phenomenal. It was so close to town. The house was spotless and had everything you could ever need. The beds were comfortable. Washer and dryer looked brand new and were huge. It was August but it was cold so we used the gas fireplace and had such a cozy night. The furniture was all top notch. We had two families and the layout was perfect for that with tons of room. This is by far the best vrbo we have every stayed at. Plus it was so close to the entrance to Yellowstone it made getting into the park each day so easy. The teenagers all liked having their own TV. And we even used the board games for game night! The owners have thought of it all!

We stayed here at the beginning of July. Everything was perfect from location, cleanliness, stocked kitchen, beds, and the assorted snacks were such a nice touch. This is the best vacation rental my family has stayed at. If we return to the area, we will definitely stay here again. The town of Gardiner is quant. We were greeted by momma and baby elk in the road to the rental when we arrived. It was so much fun seeing them throughout our stay. All of the games and puzzles were a big hit for our kids. Thank you for opening your home and making us feel like we were at home.

I have rented numerous homes, condos, etc. over the years and this is the BEST I have ever stayed in! The home is exactly as pictured, or maybe even better. This house has everything you need and is perfect for a large family or even 2 families. The large living and kitchen area has a ton of room with amazing views. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs and 2 bedrooms and bathrooms downstairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with every gadget you would want, including a Ninja blender, coffee grinder, and other appliances. The coffee pot is not a Keurig - but there were plenty coffee filters in the home. The owners have 3 different ice chests as well as freezer packs available for guests to use to pack lunches. We were pleasantly surprised at the amenities that were already there upon arrival - paper products, washing detergent, seasonings, even some snacks! I would suggest going to the house to see what is there before going shopping. The Gardiner Market is close by and has a great selection of essentials for your stay. Every day we saw deer or elk right outside the house, sometimes waiting by the front door or right next to the windows. This house is truly a gem and we loved our stay in Gardiner.

We’ve been renting homes for 15+ years and this was one of our very favorites! The home was beautiful! The views were spectacular!! It was a 5 minutes drive to the North entrance (which you could see from the house.
Beds were comfy. Showers were hot. The house was stocked with everything you could possibly need! We really appreciated all of the amenities like the games, ice chest, and cooler bags. The kitchen was great. We put our teens to work making waffles. 😁

Beds were wonderful and Bathrooms were clean and updated! Master Bdrm & Bath we’re very spacious. Beautiful view also! Nice large garage! Gardiner was a fun little town. Everything you need right there! Groceries, Hardware Store, Shopping, Restaurants/Food Trucks, Great Coffee Shops, White Water Rafting, and ‘Yellowstone Forever’ Park Info & Shop. We hiked 3.5 days at Yellowstone and this place was perfect to relax and rest! Be careful in Late May of the Cow Elk Mothers with their Young Calves, just keep distance, don’t go for a run outside of town. Wonderful to watch amazing Mother Nature all around! We will be back! Best Family vacation, thanks to these great accommodations!

This home was absolutely amazing! The owner thought of everything. We were so pleasantly surprised by all the little efforts put in by the owner to make everyone’s stay that much better.
The location was perfect! Sitting in the living room and looking out the windows was a breathtaking view.
The kitchen was one of my favorite parts. The pantries were well stocked with leftovers from the former renters. I would certainly check the pantry before you go grocery shopping. The beds for wonderful; the towels were soft and the leather sofas had four chairs that reclined. This place is a must stay.
Book early as this place fills up quickly. I can’t wait to plan my next trip to Yellowstone and book again with this wonderful home.

This was one of the best VRBO homes we’ve ever stayed in. The home was beautiful, clean and well equipped. The location was very convenient to the town. The owner was very helpful and responsive when we needed anything. They thought of everything from coolers to bear spray. Everyday we saw deer and elk right by the house. The views of the mountains were spectacular and you could see into Yellowstone. We hope to go back with the whole family, since it’s such a great home for families. We truly hated to leave this beautiful place!

Gardiner, MT is a very cute little town. This property is very beautiful, spacious, and clean. I love that they had extra things for guests as needed like bear spray, hot hands, snack basket. We luckily had all those items already, but it was cool that they thought to have those things available. I also appreciated that they had a brand new unopened sponge for us to use with our dishes. I know that sounds weird, but sponges are gross and shouldn’t be shared. There were plenty of small appliances, spices, pots, pans, dishes, knives, utensils, etc….. Probably the best variety that I have ever had at a VRBO property! The Mountain view was amazing. However, when looking at this listing it seemed like the property was further away from the main town than it really was. It was still quiet and tons of elk around, but it was not far out. So, if you want seclusion, this may not be the rental for you. It would be nice if the doors could be upgraded to have a keyless entry. Having one key available for your entire party with a property that has 4 beds and 4 baths can be a little tricky especially if you want to do separate things. There was also no garage door openers. So, if you park in the garage, you have to go unlock doors, open them from in the garage. Not a big deal, but if it’s raining, snowing, or high winds, it’s nice to not have to do that. Also, property owners were fine and answered questions, but didn’t seem to be too friendly. Maybe I was just spoiled by the last rental we had. I had asked for suggestions and tips and never received any correspondence. Over all the property was beautiful and I would stay there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this home. The pictures do not do it justice. Lovely views of the surrounding areas of Yellowstone. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything that you need. An elk and a mule deer paid us a visit during our stay. Highly recommend!
